So, uh, it's been a while since I posted anything here, huh? I suppose I should start with a brief summary of my downtime.

TL;DR, I kinda got intimidated by my own success (as pretentious as that might sound considering the scope of the success is limited to the medium of my little pony fanfiction), and felt like I wasn't good enough at what I was doing to match up with the perception of how good my work should if Im putting in a proper amount of effort on the actual quality of the writing. This was especially the case with my biggest work to date, where I made some questionable decisions as it progressed, as I have already discussed in the author's comments section of the new prologue.
So yeah, as weenie mode as it probably sounds, I've just kind of been in a creative limbo of having the drive to create being contracted by the equal and opposite force of my devastating self-criticism.

But enough about that, it's sad and kinda pathetic. Now that I have explained myself, I do not wish to dwell on it. The important thing is that Big Dick is Back In Town, and I am hoping to keep them there for the foreseeable future. To that end I am currently attempting to abide by the following.

I will attempt to put out one chapter of TTIGRAAP a week, potentially excluding weeks where holidays or other pressing personal matters take precedence, of course. Note that I am not saying I will write one chapter per week. I will hopefully be building up a small backlog of unfinished work, which will be available to view to anyone who wishes to in my personal discord server, a link to which can be found on the front page of most of my works. I will also be formally opening a Twitter Account, which I will be using exclusively to follow pony creators and events that catch my eye. Who knows, maybe you'll see me at a con sometime! I might even be capable of socializing that day.

Next, commissions are CLOSED for the foreseeable future. I do not want to overwhelm myself with having to worry about creating content that I am not putting my whole cock and balls behind, let alone for other people. Once I finally get over my mental hurdles on certain stuff, that may change. I thought I had gone through my entire commission backlog and refunded everyone to whom I owed work, but it seems that after crawling back out of the woodwork, I still have a few stragglers who did not get my correspondence on the matter. I will be attempting to finish their commissioned works at a later date. You know who you are, and I apologize for the delay, but I really need to put myself first on this. I will refund you if you would like on request, no hassle, no hard feelings.

On that same note, I may take a small break here and there from TTIGRAAP and write something for one of my other many neglected and incomplete fics that, despite all of my failings as a writer, do, in fact, go kind of hard. All of you lovers of some of my lighter works (looking at you Everfree Anon Lovers) should be seeing something cooking in the near future, and will subsequently, hopefully be eating well.

So, to summarize for everyone who doesn't feel like reading all of that: I got a bit overwhelmed and dipped, I'm back, and I've adjusted my expectations and am going to try to take things one chapter at a time, like I should have been doing all along.

Dad is back with the milk, kids.

And I think we are all long overdue and very thirsty for a tall, cold glass of the good stuff.
