    Here's the Deal

As cute as Daring Don't was, Im not gonna consider it cannon in my upcoming story. Ive been working on it too long to have it all go out the window now.

So... hope you all like it anyway, even if it isnt shipping Daring and Dash.

I do like how they basically used the personality I developee for her. Though mine is more deep rooted and hindering than the quick fix of the show.

    ...

Coleridge was a drug addict. Poe was an alcoholic. Marlowe was killed by a man whom he was treacherously trying to stab. Pope took money to keep a woman's name out of a satire then wrote a piece so that she could still be recognized anyhow. Chatterton killed himself. Byron was accused of incest. Do you still want to a writer - and if so, why?

The Sacrifices of Passion and Pursuit

You ever freverently sought a goal so passionately that you become self obsessed? You turn into a raving loon and soon all your friends dump you. It happened to Poe and even Hemmingway.

Unlike them, however, my passion hasnt paid off. I invested too much and sacrificed too much. The price was greater than the payoff and now I have nothing to show on both ends.

Liberated! · 4:56am Feb 18th, 2012

All my devotion, betrayed
I am no longer afraid
I was to blinded to see
All that you've stolen from me...

No longer shooting for the moon and just being happy with where I am, I shall return sometime in the near future. Those who did remain waiting for me, thank you. Those who left out of disgust, I don't blame you.

...well, wherever you go, I hope it doesn't destroy you.

And it kind of doesn't help to title your blog "Liberated."
Makes me feel, well, sort of bad, especially when this particular reader didn't do anything that I can think of to harm you, and actually attempted to help you, but alas.

No it just means it was crazy of me to obsess over trying to be on top and be on EqD. No one did anything to harm me (unless they left in disgust).

15993 Alright, then. Like I said, try not to be destroyed on your way to wherever you feel you need to go.

15993 Meh. I try not to try for success. I have three out of four fics doing rather well. The one not doing well is the one I've put the most time and effort into. Trying for success gives you a chance at failure. Don't let yourself have that possibility. Write for yourself. Write for your fans. Write for someone you knew once in your life. Write for the hell of it. It's not philosophy, and it's not science. All it is is doing what you want, when you want. If you can't live life through yourself or your stories, then you need better stories.

Keep writing, and never stop.
~an adoring fan.

For some reason, Metallica's "Wherever I May Roam" came to mind when I was reading this blog post. That aside, do whatever you want, and post wherever you want. You'll have fans regardless.

It's good to hear that your feeling better

Alas patience is fleeting in most people, a lot of us are still here though! take heart!

There are so many things wrong with that statement I don't even know to say.

Well, I hope it all works out. If it means you'll never update again, Ill be sad, but its all about you man. Hope you keep writing, be it ponies or not. You have talent, let no one deny you that!

Well, welcome back!
