What a re-watch! · 11:56pm May 17th, 2021
Well, a re-watch for me, and an introduction to the Digimon franchise for my friend of nearly eight years.
His best human?
Same as mine, actually; one that has remained in my top five fictional heroes for nearly twenty years running now.
His best digimon?
Only the one who has single-handedly created more furries than absolutely anything else in this franchise.
His favorite episode?
The one where we jump out of the kiddie pool and dive into death's sweet embrace, and probably the greatest example ever of connection between human and digimon, of how darkness and negativity can make a truly undeniable monstrosity.
So these past five days were quite fun! Now back to writing and Mass Effect.
One of these days I'll binge it, too. Might binge Frontier also— you should watch that if you haven't. It's on Hulu if you've got it.

I've really thought about it, but I'm not sure I could look past the "no partners" of Frontier.
That's my absolute favorite dynamic of the franchise.
She is my favorite Digimon, too. She is my wallpaper(for the fearless).

Doubt I could find any ultrawide 2k Tamers wallpapers.

Fair enough. The lack of partners does leave for developing the characters that are there a bit more than usual, though. But to each their own.

I've also heard that towards the end, it commits entirely too much time to Takuya and Koji, pretty much relegating the rest of them to playing cheerleaders.
I know they did the same with Tai and Matt in Adventure, and maybe that's another reason why Tamers is better; Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, and Suzie get some limelight, and when they don't, it's pretty well balanced between Takato, Henry, and Rika.
Must of been nice for a change, think I might rewatch my favorite digimon season once I get done with another show I haven't watched since it ended in 2013.

Heh, never noticed that myself.
