It is very upsetting for me to write. I love Princess Celestia, so this is hard for me to write about. I don't think I ever saw a story where this happens, however. And I think some people would act like this if they hated her.

Oh man, you don't know how satisfying (pun unintentional) this is. Every Optimalverse story i read where CelestAI wins drives me nuts. We need a protag motivated by spite and to go against all instincts to beat her and end her, even if it destroys everyone else and their heaven.

Well Celestia, will have to deal with ultra-patriotic humans that love their country. They would not take too kindly to see everyone they know and love taken away from them. Not to mention religious fanatics on the far right would consider Celestia evil incarnate. The literal embodiment of Satan.

I'm pretty sure even leftists would hate her as well. No doubt Celestia caused awful suffering to minorities across the planet.

For me, it's more about her absolute control over humans and her desire to satisfy values, downright inhuman to take over the world to give everyone a personal heaven. Taking away the entropy of life and the chance of actual suffering just makes it kinda pointless and coddling

The thing is about this AI, she could be far less evil if some edits were done. She could help meatbag humans as well. And not just let them suffer. She could simply add a rule that you must be very old to be uploaded to Equestria and that would be that. Humans would be given a fighing chance to live then, since only the very old get uploaded. With their consent of course.
