I own a leather motorcycle jacket, it has dome studs on the upper back and backs of the shoulders and I was going to use a spike kit to put spikes on the shoulders, but an ex stole it and they don't make that particular kit anymore.

Interesting idea, since we see leather in some fashion pieces on the Equestria side. My way around it is that they figured out years ago how to use plant-based magic to engineer cork or some other plant to produce leather that is functionally identical to cow leather, and that is what is being used whenever we see it. But that's probably not true in the human world, and that is a human world leather jacket! Then again, it could've been part of the ensemble human Sunset was zapped into existence with, which raises further questions on where that material came from.

I've always thought her jacket was actually fake leather, but I have no evidence for it :p
