I finally published Chapter 6

So, you know how in a previous blog post I said I would be updating Rules for Bodyguards every week? What I actually meant was that I would not be updating every week! Gotcha!

Seriously, though, between IRL stuff and the multiple rewrites I did, it took longer than I would like to get it to publication. One of my early drafts was almost 10,000 words long and didn't move the story along nearly as much. You can see bits of it in the teaser blog post I made previously. I plan to make another blog post talking about the editing and rewriting process I went through with this chapter, if only to remind myself so I don't repeat those mistakes. In the meantime, I would love some feedback about the story as a whole and chapter 6 in particular. It was a lot of fun to come up with the choreography and narrate the fight, but it was also extremely time consuming. I can see why a lot of stories with this style of very personal fight scenes end up being one-shots. That's not going to dissuade me, though!
