Mane Six Tickle Headcanons · 5:02am Feb 17th, 2021
As in, what is each character's most ticklish spot and if they enjoy tickling.
I teased this in my previous blog; here it is! Slight change, though: I did say in that blog that I would also give my tickle headcanons for a few background ponies, and I still do plan on that, but I decided to stick with the Mane Six for this one.
Note: Not all of my headcanons are thought of by me; sometimes I view another fan's headcanon and agree with it, and so it becomes mine too. Will note and give credit if one of these shows up in this blog.
Anyway, without further ado:
- Pinkie Pie loves being tickled, and feels no shame in it. She will go to far, sometimes creative lengths to have it done to her. Not surprising, since she's the Element of Laughter and is a shameless pony in general.
As for what these "creative lengths" are, well, one is that when Pinkie throws a party, she likes to include a tickling event, where she herself will go on the receiving end.
Being the pony who loves to make others laugh, she also enjoys being on the giving end. Overall, tickling has become one of Pinkie's favorite activities, and she wonders why she didn't bother with it for so long.
- Twilight also loves being tickled, but is too embarrassed to admit it, unless it's to Shining Armor. (I took this headcanon from the UnicxrnPxnk story Good Old Times Come to Life.)
Note: Don't mind the "fetish" tag that Good Old Times Come to Life has; there's not actually anything explicitly sexual in story. Trust me; if there was, I would not be reading it, and wouldn't have grabbed this headcanon. If you didn't know, I'm averse to sexual content. I just can't do it. (No judgement to anyone who does enjoy it!)
Anyway, and I came up with this part: Twilight does like the idea of going into a tickle session with one of her Mane Six friends, but can't bring herself to ask for it. Which is odd, given that she does trust them really well. Twilight herself doesn't understand why she only feels safe with tickling when around her brother.
- Both Applejack and Rainbow Dash, from memory, think they don't like being tickled, but one day, they randomly become curious about what it's like, and wonder if things might have changed to the point where they would like it now. I wrote a whole story about this; if you haven't read it yet and plan on doing so, don't uncover this spoiler box here:
Both Applejack and Rainbow Dash, despite practically dying of embarrassment in the process, did end up having their curiosities fulfilled, and they both do enjoy being tickled if it's done in a consensual, friendly setting.
- Rarity has come to enjoy being tickled after very little exposure to it over her life, which is incredibly useful given that she loves tickling other ponies. Rarity dislikes the idea of resisting payback from her ticklees; as the old saying goes, "If you can't take it, don't dish it out."
- No data for Fluttershy. She doesn't even want to say if she's ticklish.
Now, the Mane Six's most ticklish spots:
Pinkie Pie - back hooves
Twilight - tied with tummy and sides
Applejack - Does not have a "tickle spot", per say; it's more dependent on technique and tool than area. My previous blog talks about this; per what I said there, to the extent of her knowledge as of my story Tickling Try-Out, a raspberry to the belly is what tickles AJ most, but her hooves are more ticklish if you use a feather on both areas.
Rainbow Dash - Claims she does not yet have enough data to know.
Rarity - equally ticklish in all of the four main areas (tummy, sides, back hooves, under-forelegs)
Fluttershy - no data
So, for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, their "tickle statuses" are incomplete or unknown. But... what if I'm eventually going to write a story where they will become complete? Hmm... am I teasing something?
