Hearts and Hooves Day, The Magic of Friendship, and Giving Somepony a Smile · 5:56pm Feb 13th, 2021
So, tomorrow (or today if you live in Australia or New Zealand) is Hearts and Hooves Day. Valentine's Day, in other words. A day on which ponies confess their love for each other or go home at the end of the evening in tears, or are just completely indifferent. That last one is me.
Almost. I'm not completely indifferent. I don't have a special somepony, but I have a family, and I have friends, including all of you ponies here on Fimfiction!
So, I want to say Happy Hearts and Hooves Day to you all.
But that's not all. An unfortunate soul here by the name of Fennekin11506 (aka Star Gazer) celebrates their birthday tomorrow. It's unfortunate because he doesn't usually have anypony to celebrate with, since they're all spending time with their special someponies.
So I have a task for all of you who read this. Log on to Fimfiction tomorrow (or today, if it's already Hearts and Hooves Day where you live), and leave a Happy Birthday message on his user page. All it takes is 14 taps on a keyboard and one click. (I actually bothered counting how many characters there are in happy birthday lol.) Just a little something to cheer him up, because everypony should be able to celebrate their birthday, regardless of whether it coincides with another celebration or not.

I promise, you will find somepony, just like I'll figure out what I want to do with my life, and how to write original fiction rather than just fan fiction so I can get a few coins in my pocket from it. Writing for fun is all well and good, but at some point I'm going to need a job, and it might as well be something I enjoy.

Writing is a good passion, and could be a promising career for you if you're good at it. But your biggest goal may not always be the best first destination. Here in America we like to consider small businesses or fast-food restaurants as places to work first jobs. Not because we enjoy them, but because we get paid. Your first job may not be something you like, but if it pays, it pays. You'll find your purpose soon, though, I can (probably)guarantee that.
