Death of a Queen: 41 · 11:52pm Dec 25th, 2020
At first, Twilight had seen Chrysalis as a villain.
While they worked together, she saw the changeling queen as a companion.
But know, she doesn't know what to think.
She clung to some glimmer of hope that Thorax's story might help settle her rampant emotions, but it seems to have only made the choice harder. And as they sail through the storm and inch ever closer to the hive, Twilight debates the meanings of write and wrong in ways that could shift her future and the future of Equestria.
Chapter 41: Decisions
Author's Note:
Hiya. I'm really tired, possibly a little drunk . . . so ya know, brace yourselves if you're reading any deeper.
Merry Christmas (or insert appropriate holiday greeting here) everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your night. I know it might be tough this year with all the trouble of 2020 piling up at the end here. For some, I'd imagine that this might be your first holiday season celebrating without some of your loved ones. If that is the case, or if you're just feeling down for any reason, just remember that you're not alone. A lot of people are struggling right now. And, speaking from experience, it's okay to feel that way.
It's almost 2021. The light at the end of the tunnel might be far off, but we get a little closer every day. Everyone be safe and enjoy yourselves the best you can tonight.
And, if I may make one last request. Though I'm posting this tonight to keep on schedule, I'd recommend you wait until tomorrow to read it. Spend tonight with those who mean the most to you. These words will still be here for several days to come, at least.
Take care of yourselves out there,
