Sombra Sequel? · 5:14am Dec 10th, 2020
I've been thinking about it, and I do want to do a sequel to I Am Not Sombra. Problem is: I've no idea what kind of plot a sequel would revolve around other than general points, or what to do with it (other than a chapter for Cadance's trial+pardoning). I'm open to suggestions though if you have any and want to send them my way.

Him planning how to bring back Celestia?
Actually appointing some degree of authority to Luna?
Retraining the guard to be even remotely competent?
Possibly getting blind, rotten drunk and spilling his guts to the Mane Six, one for each chapter involving the drinking, about his life as a human, seeking some form of validation that his past wasn't just some fabrication of the actual Sombra.

have you add dreams to your story before?. usual are suppose to mean something to the person, so why not add that to the sequel. I got that idea from the dorohedoro ost.

There is the thing with Amore. In one of the comics, he does decide to go searching for her fragments and restore her. This would be another trial or some form of closure for him and Celestia and Luna.

Shenanigans with Discord to try and dull or numb the pain or existence? Dark, I know.
How about a story that makes a mountain of a molehill? Like at first there seems to be a world ending threat, but it just turns out to be something else.
I can think of several. The first is straight out killing what rema8n of Sombra, just outright destroying him so that the only person whose thoughts go through his head and affect his thinking are his own. Also, why woukd Alex even be ruling Equestria in the first place? He doesn't have any reason to want to.
As for the Mane 6, that's VERY different depending on which we're talking about. Fluttershy is basically the only person Alex could call a friend right now with hiw she stuck her neck out for him, even if they'd probably disagree on things. Twilight was terrible, but is pretty obviously on a path to being better, so Alex might be able to get along with her even if he hates her. Applejack I think probably doesn't count as the Element of Honesty anymore, with how she spitefully tried to screw him over by lying several times over. The rest I don't really know.
As for alicorns, Alex could spite Cadance by making sure Flurry Heart will be a Princess eventually when she is fully grown. Having the one she hurt come back and make what she was hoping for in the first place come true without any tricks would both fuck with her and do good at the same time. Celestia can just go fuck herself and stay in the sun for all I care, and Luna I don't think can be trusted to do anything other than move the Sun/Moon. She could literally read minds, but instead of confirming Alex as innocent she fucked him over.
Lastly we have Radiant. Her, she needs to be forced to make q choice: Alex or Sombra. She cannot be friends with both, as anything that keeps part of Sombra around would be helping him to hurt Alex.

Both of these sets of suggestions. Maybe make repairing Amore the A-plot with the rest as B-plot. That is a lot of stuff though, so picking and choosing your favorite parts might or might not be a good idea.

Oh and I like the part about Radiant having to confront Alex as his own individual, that would be a good thread, pun not intended.
