“Um... Hero... those have already been done...”

“Okay... then how about the Bismark? Surely that can’t be-”
“Already done.”
“Something you can’t look at or something a have to look at? A half chicken half human hybrid? Living Legos?!”
“Already monsters in the SCP Foundation.”

New ideas are hard to come by,, good luck. And even if you can't... think of this... It doesn't matter if the idea has been done before. Do it differently. Do it better. Originality is kinda impossible. So here is my advice. No matter what you write, as long as you don't blatantly copy someone... it WILL be Original. It will be yours. Even if the idea can't BE different, it can be USED differently. It can be mixed with other ideas to create a unique and interesting cocktail of deliciousness.

I agree, coming up with something truly original is hard. Heck, I still don’t remember when or how I came up with the idea of my very first story.
