Snow Heart
It was a fairly average day in the beautiful lands where Snow Heart lived. She had decided since there wasn't a lot of paperwork to do, she could simply enjoy the beautiful flowers in her garden. She never admitted it to most ponies, but she loved the smell of flowers in bloom, and loved to watch them as the sun would shine down upon them. For some reason, the sunlight shone down onto her too, she put the hood of her hoodie up, to protect herself from the harsh sunlight. It was lovely today, and for once she felt comfortable in knowing there wasn't much "Princess" things to do today.
Buttery
Buttery sat among the garden flowers in suniest spot she could find. She purred lightly as she felt the warm beams of the sun heat up the hide on her back.
Buttery took sips of her tea, something she was usually drinking, as her tail swishes back and forth and he ears wiggled lightly.
Snow Heart
Snow Heart noticed she wasn't the only pony enjoying the garden. "Who's there?" she asked defensively, her bat wings extending from her sides, and she positioned herself defensively. She was used to "fans" glomping her, so she had to be prepared.
Buttery
"Buttery is. Hi my name is Buttery Biscuit and you butter believe I'm sorry for spooking you." Buttery giggles at her own word play hoping it'll cheer up the freighted bat.
"What's your name?! Also tea?" Buttery asked as she hoofed over a cup to the mysterious bat.
Snow Heart
Snow Heart paused as she looked to the mysterious pony before her. Not a fan, but also very full of energy. Stay cautious. She told herself. She relaxed her stance, and accepted the tea in her forehoof "Thanks, I'm Snow Heart by the way, it's nice to meet you. Why are you here?" she asked, though the obvious answer was the flowers, but still. She was on guard. She hated being glomped by any pony that wasn't Azure.
Buttery
Butter flashed snow a huge smile sharp canines before answering "the flowers smell good! Also the sun is just so nice and warm, cant resist a good sunbathe."
Buttery tiled her head looking over her potential new friend Snow. Snow held herself in a tense position and here eyes said 'I'm watching you.'
"You seem stressed, have some tea. Tea always helps me. It's just normal tea, plus I got the honey from Fluttershy so you know its good. I dont know her well but I do know she treats her animal very well. As an animal lover myself I like to make sure my food comes from a good source even if cost extra bits."
Snow Heart
Snow Heart relaxed her stance a bit, as she sipped at the tea. "Stress? Pfft. You don't even know the half of it. Do you know how many ponies line up just for a chance to talk to me like you are? No...you wouldn't possibly know that. Hold on, let me take this off." spoke Snow Heart removing her hoodie. Before Buttery Biscuit, stood a bat alicorn. She didn't even know if there were others like her. Blue fur, not as dark as Trixie's but darker than Rainbow's cyan fur, with a snow white mane and tail, a cutie mark of a heart within a snowflake on her flank.* "I'm...Princess Snow Heart. Though I really just prefer Snow."
Buttery
"You are right I wouldn't know." Buttery said as she watched Snow wiggles her wings free of a hoodie.
"Princess huh, you must be stressed. It's definitely a job that sounds pretty rough." Buttery said as she leaned on her hoof.
"I cant really truly understand how that feels since I'm not one. I do get mistaken quite often for one." Buttery flapped her wings and pointed at her unicorn horn. "I'm just multi creature tho."
"Hi snow, it's a pleasure meeting you. Usually I just sorta see princess around never talked to to many. Feel free call me whatever you want as long as it isn't late to dinner."
Snow Heart
Snow Heart sighed at that joke. Dad jokes. She rolled her eyes. "That was terrible. So you like flowers, and bathing in the sun eh. Most wouldn't think bats like the sun, but I do enjoy watching the flowers bloom. It's quite lovely." admitted Snow, sipping at the tea. She pondered something. "Hmm...Butter can I call you Butter? What got you into mlp?"
Buttery
"Thank you. Flowers and the sun are pretty great. I love to watch the flowers as well."
"Butter is just fine, I like it here it's nice. The universe is fun and so are the characters. Plus Buttery loves making friends! Most of of the horses I gallop into are sweethearts."
Buttery thoughtfully hummed to herself before getting a mischievous look in her eye. "You said you interview alot how bout I ask you a question! Why you hiding in the garden? Is if from any creature hawt?" Buttery wiggles her eyebrows a whole bunch before giggling.
Snow Heart
"You're welcome." replied Snow Heart with a slight raise of an eyebrow. "I enjoy making friends too...I just don't like being the center of attention. And well being a Princess tends to make you stand out whether you like it or not." she sighed heavily. Missing the days of being just a regular old unicorn. Her little sister, Frost Heart was just a regular pegusus. Must be nice to be normal. To not have every pony looking up to you like you were some kind of important pony. Snow Heart didn't feel she deserved her wings, but here she was. She only hoped to make it up to Frost someday.* "Me? Why am I hiding? Because I don't like being glomped by my fans." she admitted sheepishly. "So many ponies like to um sneak up on me, and it makes me nervous. But we're not here to talk about me. Um...I love Rainbow Dash. Who is best pony?"
Buttery
"Aww you poor creature. You sound so stressed. Let buttery know if she can help you." Buttery said as she reached her hoof out and pet her new friend Snow. Trying her best to reassuring.
"I figured it be something princess related so I asked something different. I thought it be funnier or more relaxing." Buttery gave snow a softer smile and she tilted her head.
"Sorry that happens must be kinda scary. Rainbow Dash is pretty cool. Well what would you like to talk about? Buttery is an open book!"
Snow Heart
her petting Snow Heart, and nuzzled against her hoof "Well yeah talking with a new friend is nice, but you never told me who your favorite pony is." she spoke looking to her. "I love headpats." she purred more
Buttery
Buttery smiled as she pet Snows head humming to herself a happy tune. "Oh it's really hard to pick. There's just so many good ones! If I had to pick just one. I'd say..... Discord."
"But it is hard to choose I do like so many characters!"
Snow Heart
"Discord huh? Good choice, but Rainbow is still best." she teased, as she finished her tea, smiling back at her. "You know it's kind of nice knowing that I can have times like this. So tell me, Butter, what inspires you to write?"
Buttery
"Yup hes fun. Rainbow is a good choice." Buttery smiled as she finished off her tea as well, she just poured herself some more and offered more to snow.
"I want to become better at it. Verbal communication is my greatest weakness. I'm hoping to become better at it maybe as good as some other creatures in our speed write group. Why do you do interviews?!"
Snow Heart
"Um because I like bringing light to other ponies, and authors. I really don't understand why they flock to me. My writings...well they aren't the best out there. But I try." she admitted, as she was still hurt by a recent review, and how no matter how hard she tried, words were hard.
Buttery
"How kind of you to do. My writing aren't the best either all that matters is that you try. That you keep trying, I'm sure you have improved you just don't see it. Plus words are hard" Buttery said as she remembered a few of her harsher reviews.
"I try my butter best and it sounds like you do too!"
Snow Heart
"I do, I try and try and try." she sighed heavily. "But often...I wonder am I any good at all? Do I even deserve this 370 followers that think I'm something special..." her wings folded against her, and she tilted her chin downwards. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be like this, it just hurts."
Buttery
Scoots over to snow so she can give reassuring snuggles. "You have to be at least a little good to have so many fans. They see something great in you. So do I, you seem like a really cool mare. Like at least 90% cooler." Buttery giggles at her own reference to Snows favorite pony.
"Plus if you all you see is the negative then that is all you'll ever see. Then what you used to find fun will slowly become a chore as the joy you once found in it is sucked out of it."
"I know troll comments and mean comments can hurt but I'm sure there's plenty of positive voices around. They are there, you just have to look. I hope that made sense I'm not the best at communication."
Snow Heart
"Shouldn't it be 20% cooler?" asked Snow Heart, giving her a questioning look. She did feel herself smile ever so slightly. "I'm glad you think that, but right now, my emotions are stronger than I'd like them to be." she admitted as she thought about changing the subject to not make this too personal.* "Why don't you tell me about a story that has helped inspire your own writing. It doesn't even have to be mlp."
Buttery
Buttery sits there and thinks about it "oh yeah it should be! Sorry." Buttery giggled as she realized her oops. "Hmmm. I think it have to be Flurry Heart. That story was long and not very popular but the few horses that saw it loved it. I worked countless hours on it and it was a challenge. I look at it and realise that I can be a good writer. I even went back and rewrote a story because of Flurry Heart. I might do it with more then one."(edited)
"Why do you interview others? Is it fun? Did you interview a cake?" Buttery jokes, giggling up a storm.
Snow Heart
"To help bring light and attention to other authors. I mean I do have a lot of followers, and I like to help others, so I figured I could use my fan base to help give others some noticing. And I hate being the center of attention. It's why I try to hide the fact I'm a Princess. Once ponies know that, they won't stop asking me questions, and want to do me favors. I'm really just a pony like you. And no I haven't interviewed a cake. That would be awkward...."
Buttery
Something somewhere in butterys head clicks "I already asked you that didnt I? What was I thinking? I'm sorry." Buttery said as she grinds her teeth uncomfortably.
"I can see that. You are very nice pony and I know you cant. I figured you be tired of serious life questions. Plus you never know those red cakes are always so sus. Definitely plotting for take over of the cabinets."
Snow Heart
Snow Heart starred at Butter, and raised an eyebrow. "You...are...something." she stated. "Though I have interviewed a triangle. Twice. Pulled me into a totally different dimension, that was well...weird but a lot of fun. But enough about me. What about you? And by you, what would you like to say about the author behind Buttery Biscuit?"
Buttery
"I'm a bit of a doofy creature." Buttery just smiled. She was quite the odd one which made it difficult to befriend others.
"Hey that's pretty neat I'll have to read it! I plan to pick up some of your interviews after were done chillen. I wonder if you interviewed anyone I already know. That be neat."
"What about me?? I'm an open book. I like have silly good times. Buttery and I are pretty much the same. Buttery just lives in the mlp world."
Snow Heart
"I do have a list of Master interviews, it's a bit outdated, but it might save you time scrolling through so many blogs." Snow Heart flushed deeply, embarrassed that she really should make an updated one. But...she didn't feel like doing it right now.* "Being an open book is both good and bad. Often I find I reveal too much and it scares ponies off. You have to be careful telling ponies you're a bat. They don't always take it well. So since you like asking me questions, why don't we turn the tables a bit. Ask me anything. but you only get one question." smirked Snow Heart.
Buttery
"I'd love to take a look maybe I can help you with it. I do love organizing and I got nothing else to do." Buttery gave a smile.
"I sort of have to be, communication is rough for buttery. So I try to be as open as possible in the hopes that it's easier to make friends and connections. Plus I'm really strange no use in hiding that." Buttery said as she she glanced over to snows wings.
"I dont think your scary, plus who would your wings are so pretty and you seem heckin cool."
Buttery thoughtfully hummed "yes but becuase I wanted to get to know you a bit better! Plus it feels rude if it was just about me. Mmmm only one quesstionnn mmmmm."
Buttery wondered how silly her question should be as she hummed and hummed some more. Eventually overthinking the question and going with "would you like to be friends? I understand if you say no."
Snow Heart
"Oh that would be very helpful! Maybe you can even help me be focused on one story compared to many! I tend to have a bad habit of starting a bunch and not finishing anything." she admitted, blushign more. "Awwwh. Shucks. Thank you." she replied waiting for the questions.
"Friends? I'd love to be friends!" she screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed hugging Butter and pulling her close. She left go of her, and coughed into her hoof. "Sorry about that, it's just so exciting to make new friends. A long time ago, I didn't realize how much my sister was hurting by the friendships I was making with others, and when I got these wings, it got worse. She thought I hated her, and I'm still trying to make it up to her, so if you don't mind would you like to meet Frost Heart? She's my sister, and she deserves some attention too."
Buttery
Buttery hugged Snow until she let go, happily sqealing, her tail swishes about, and her ears wiggled with excitement that Snow agreed to be friends with her. "Sure I'd love to!"
