"Spilled Ink" Progress Commentary #4 · 1:34pm Oct 14th, 2020
It's that time of month again. Well, not 100% exactly that time of month, technically the date I set for these commentaries is the 16th of every month, but I'm paradoxically lazy yet impatient.
Month #4 has gone fairly strong, with two weighty chapters that I was actually pretty invested in writing, introducing a few new characters and expanding on existing ones, mostly focusing on character interactions. At the time of writing this commentary there are 10 chapters, with 50,001 words between them, 1,627 views with 315 of them being unique, 13 comments, 20 likes and even 2 dislikes. I also figured out how to look at how many bookshelves it's in. (78 of them)
Yes, I made the word count exactly one higher on purpose (EDIT: which was very swiftly changed by my editing)
What's coming up? Probably two more chapters spaced out over the next month, as well as some edits and updates to the rest of the story. Mostly just resolving errors and contradictions, nothing to worry much about. Some of the planned changes won't impact the overarching story itself very much, so there's no need for you to read them over again unless you're some kind of lore fiend.
If there's any sort of interest for it, next commentary I could share a few character notes and maybe answer any sorts of questions. Nothing that might spoil any grand plans, of course, but little things that need clarification.
