"Spilled Ink" Progress Commentary #3 · 1:13am Sep 17th, 2020
Hello! Three months I've been at it now, a little slow at times but I'd like to try and keep my pace of writing as high as I can. I think the average on releases going forward will be about two chapters per month, though depending on how much content I want to pack into a single chapter that might change.
As I write this, another chapter has gone live and some of these numbers will be a little skewed depending on when you read this. 38,454 words spread over 8 chapters so far, there are 1,065 total views with 241 of them being unique, 10 comments, 17 likes and 2 dislikes.
For some reason the total views seem a little high to me. I might attribute this to me being a little ornery when it comes to writing. I do a little bit, save, leave, come back later in the day, repeat process. Sometimes this is because I'm struggling with a scene and am trying to figure out how it'll proceed, or end up going over and redoing a part too much. And I'll admit that it's too easy for me to get distracted and go do other things between trying to do my writing. The obvious solution is to deprive myself of stimuli, but that's not always an option. I'll keep working on a solution.
And now the questions! Who here is following and/or reading the story? What do you think so far? How would you describe the quality? Any suggestions?
please let me know i'm a glutton for attention
