Rewrite - Ch. 5; MEF · 3:12am Aug 29th, 2020
I’m doing a rewrite of the Mistress of the Everfree Forest. One chapter at a time. But this may halt the progress of Chapter 8.
This came up in one of the comments, (Thanks to whoever wrote it and sorry I can’t remember who it was), many readers have given me tips, ideas and criticism, like how in some places, the characterization is wrong, and I’ve been writing it all down on a notebook, (Word document, actually), so that I may one day act on the advice given.
Which is today.
I’ve decided, as you saw at the start of this blog, to rewrite the entire first seven chapters, though some may just need a few twerks and edits, and I’ve actually recently finished Chapter 5.
(Part of the reason why I’m doing this is also that I’ve gained a bit of experience in writing, and now the earlier attempts at chapters now just look like trash...)
Chapter 5 is now fit to be released, (but can somebody tell me if I should publish a new chapter for the rewrite or just edit it in?) 
I'd suggest you just edit it in. publishing a new chapter removes your old views, and it's better to just edit the name with (rewrite) then when a new chapter releases, (in this instance, chapter 8,) people will see the name and click on it. That's what i did, anyhow.
Personally I'd edit it in, but that's me.

A rewrite? Hell, considering how much fun this story is, all you could possibly do to it is make it even more exciting & popular! Can't wait to see what you come up with during your rewrite!
