"Spilled Ink" Progress Commentary #2 · 1:19am Aug 16th, 2020
Just about 2 months ago I started Spilled Ink. Not much progress since then in the actual, readable portion of it, only gaining 1 chapter and 4,942 words. There are now 171 unique views, 8 comments, 11 likes, and 2 dislikes.
Amazing! My first serious project has done well enough to have two different people take time out of their days to give it a dislike! That, or one person on two different accounts with a bit of a grudge. I'll admit, I haven't done very much of the writing in the chronological end with what Ink Blot's up to. Most of my time has been work, or playing one of the games I picked up recently. Thrice Cursed be these three: Metro, Total War: Warhammer, and Halo Reach Custom Games. What little time I have devoted to the project has been building the story's canon, especially as it relates to the show itself. Some of it might get used, some might not. If the project does well enough, I'll go out and share some of my canon. As well as my cannon.
While progress on Spilled Ink itself is slow, I carved out a bit of time to do something different and wrote Slow Day at the Bakery. It's a one-shot, can be enjoyed on its own, but its characters will be incorporated into Spilled Ink when I release the next chapter.
Speaking of, all 5 or 6 people who're looking forward to the next chapter can expect it within the coming week. Monday at the earliest, but no later than Wednesday.
