    River City Equestria Girls?

Seriously, that's Pinkie Pie on the left, and Rainbow Dash on the right. Tell me I'm wrong.

I will not write a fanfic about the two of them getting into all the fights.

    Probably.

An "I don't have livejournal anymore" sort of update.

    It snowed yesterday.

Which just reminded me how much I don't like winter. It wasn't even a bad snow, just enough of a dusting to linger for a little bit. First one of the season. And I even had the day off from work, due to my schedule, so it's not like I had to do anything ...

    So I didn't.

    Happy Halloween!

So yeah. Despite various distractions (Steam had Darkest Dungeon for UNDER FOUR BUCKS), I've managed to hammer out a ridiculously shippy conclusion to the self indulgent Rarijack story I started.

So that's fun? I gave myself a deadline to finish things on Oct 31, so that's what I did, dangit. Hopefully you guys will enjoy.

One for the metalheads. · 12:33pm Jul 16th, 2020

'cause there's a surprising overlap between 'metal fans' and 'bronies,' at least according to the comments on BY THE BLACK AXE OF NIGHTMARE MOON! Which is also my most-commented story. Go figure.

Anyway, here's some silly.

Sooo yeah. Theoretically going to get some more writing accomplished in the near future. Probably not pony writing (sorry to disappoint) but you never can be absolutely sure. I've got a vague urge to write something fluffy and shippy, just as a change of pace, but I don't have a good hook for it yet. But it's also early and I haven't woken up 100 percent yet, so who knows what the future may bring?

Anyway, stay safe out there, ya nerds.

The history of battle metal:

1. Manowar invent it.
2. Sabaton perfect it.
3. Dragonforce prove you can write it by the numbers.

Next comes the part where the genre dies because of market oversaturation. :ajsleepy:

Oddly enough, that kind of fits my feelings for the bands exactly. Manowar is good, Sabaton is trying too hard, and Dragonforce is fun but soulless.
