"Magic of the Heart" Tagging Update · 2:50am Jul 7th, 2020
Time for a little update on the status of the novel.
After consulting with my editors, who have had a chance to see further ahead in "Magic of the Heart" than the regular readers have, I've decided to make a change to the tags, just to make sure I'm covering all my bases.
I don't want to blindside anyone with unexpected content, so I'm adding the "Sex" tag to the novel, as well as making this blog post so my readers are aware the change has occurred. I did mention, in this blog post at the start of the novel, that some of this content would be present, but I'm going to add the tag as well.
The most important thing to note about this is that the story's rating isn't changing; it will continue to be rated Teen, as it has been since it was published, and the content will fall within that rating's guidelines Nothing has changed about my planned storyline, it's the same as it was since day 1, so don't take this update as a big deal or anything.
The "Sex" tag in the context of the Teen rating refers to the use of sexual humor (and there already is a little bit of that in the published chapters) and situations with sexual context but no explicit depictions of sex acts. All characters involved in any dialogue or activity of that nature are over 18, of course.
With that out of the way, keep your eyes open for the next chapter release on July 18th!

I mean, that's just the site guidelines of how to use the Sex tag on a teen-rated fic. The fact that the story is rated Teen rather than Mature, and also has the Sex tag, should imply this to any newcomers. This post was more to alert the people who are already reading that the tag had been added.
