My Very Last Blog Post - Goodbye

As of now, I think the time has come to finally abandon my Fimfiction page. I don't particularly want any involvement in the MLP community any longer and I hold no interest in continuing to be an active member. While my page remains open to everyone, I've logged out permanently and don't think I'll return to it or use it again. No more blogs, no more stories, no related content - it's over.

I'm never going to be the person that... (Facts of life)

I'm never going to be the person who goes out drinking with friends in the pub at the end of the week,
I'm never going to be the person to enter a stable relationship,
I'm never going to be the person to cry for those who won't cry for me,
I'm never going to be the person who gives up over a little tough break,

Either stay or leave. Don't play me about.

    If you're staying, stay.

If you're playing around with me, kindly fuck off. I'm not in the mood.

Either follow or don't follow. It really is that simple. Make up your mind already.

    Thank you. :ajsleepy:

Need a distraction from your low mood? Here's an old photo of my guinea pig :3

Because I'm sad and because my guinea pig is an adorable fwubby enchanted squeaking potato, here's Oscar laying down and snuggling into his brother, Guinness's guinea bum. Don't ask why he did that, just look at how cute he's being. Requires all the ear rubs. Should have called him Sir Purrsalot. 🐹

''Applejack, are you gay?'' French Translation - if you're interested.

Back when I introduced this story a few years ago, I was approached by a French Translator called Rainbowsoarin007 and they requested me to allow them to turn my story into a French translation for viewers in that part of the world and those who speak it.

Can you guess which ones I don't like? · 7:35pm Jul 1st, 2020

  1. Cake. 🍰
  2. Liquorice. ☠🤢
  3. Guinea pigs. 🐹
  4. Nirvana / Grunge rock. 🤘😋
  5. Being in a relationship. 💏
  6. Rollercoasters. 🚂
  7. Spiders and other bugs / insects 🕷🐜🐞
  8. Guitars and music. 🎸
  9. The sea and water in general. 🏊
  10. Writing horror stories. 💉🔪⚰🖋

Let me know down below and I'll tell you if you're correct! Let's see how well you know me. :trixieshiftright:

Alright, I’m usually right but here’s my guess of which ones you don’t like

I will say Liquorice because the emoji give it away and does people like black liquorice? Just saying.

You forgot one:

11. Cartoon Pones

5298787

Unless you're my grandfather or my dad, you don't like liquorice. I can't stand the taste. It's such an old guy sweet. The only liquorice sweet I can tolerate are pom-poms. That's literally all I can stomach. 🤢

There are still nine more to guess, btw! :ajsmug: (Hint: five are likes, five are dislikes.)

5298791
Well, I know you love Grunge Rock.

And guitars and music.

5298800

That's two out of five. Three more to go! If you've been around long enough, you might remember clues from my blogs (That's a hint, by the way!)

5298792

If you like liquorice, then I'm going to label you as insane or taste-dead. That stuff is rank!

5298788

Shh, I can still have guilty pleasures and not have them be public! :applejackconfused::derpytongue2:

5298791
Alright.

I will says you don’t like spiders and any type of insects because I know most people HATED Spiders including my own mom who absolutely hated Spiders so much that she would get scared so easily and ask me and grandma to kill it even if the spider is tiny.

You like Nirvana/Grudge Rock and being in the relationship cause again, the emoji give it away as well your profile states you love punk music.

Goes same for guitar and music..... how in the earth could anyone hate music?

I think you like rollercoaster since based on your profile, I think you are type of person who love to be thrill-seeker and do crazy stuffs like riding on crazy roller coasters.

I believe you like cake since how could anyone hate cake or sweets in general?

The three things that I might think you dislike are Guinea pigs, sea or water and writing horror stories.

Okay, this is hard than what I expecting but like I said, I’m not always right and your answers might surprise me.

COURTESY WARNING TO THOSE WHO HAVEN'T YET ANSWERED: This contains spoilers for the true answers, so avoid to play fair! Thank you!

Hmm, interesting. If you've been around for a while, you probably know more than you'd think. But here's my actual answers:

1) I hate cake with a vengeance. It's overrated and I don't see what the fuss is about. They all taste the same and I'd rather not have it during birthdays. Instead, when I made this fact painfully obvious last year, my aspiring baker of a younger brother made me a cookie brownie instead. (Oh, and I have a massive sweet tooth. Toffee bon bons and Kopp sweets are the best! :raritystarry:)

2) I bloody LOVE guinea pigs! We had four, and I spent every single day with mine since he was a baby. He was essentially like my own kid, so it hurt really bad when he died. They are honestly the best pets you could ask for. Guinea pigs and cats. I'm personally not a fan of dogs. (Don't hate me for that; they are as overrated as cake.)

3) Being in a relationship is a bit of a half-and-half situation for me. I'd love it to have that companionship and mutuality again, but the concept scares the shit out of me. But I am still open to it, so that earns you the point.

4) Guitars and music; yes, I agree on wondering how anybody could hate either of these. They must be dead inside. I love playing music as well as writing it. I'm working on entering a band at the moment, biding my time to get over to rehearsal. (And yes, it's a grunge band, if you were curious.)

As for the last one; I absolutely can NOT stand water or being anywhere NEAR water. I'm not a hydrophobe, considering I can swim and will go into it, but I'm genuinely scared of water for many reasons. You seen it when it's night time and you can hear it but can't see it until you fall in?! It's black in colour! It scares me to death half the time, and gives me goosebumps when I'm around it. I mention it in some of my blogs, actually.

5) But to answer your question, that leaves us with the horror story question. I love writing horror. It's one of my favourite genres to write, and I'm a lifelong fan of anything horror-based, and have been since I was a kid. When I wrote my first one, it sucked, but when I got into the imagery and atmosphere of writing it, I ended up loving it.

5298816
Woah! I didn’t expect those kind of answers.

You don’t like water? That remind me of Unbreakable where Bruce Willis’ character’s weakness is water! I guess the water is your kryptonite!

Does most of your horror stories are torture porn cause most of 2000s horror movies are basically Torture Porn movies and it wasn’t scary anymore until around mid-2010s where the horror movies finally become genuinely scary..... no offense

I’m agreed with you on Dogs, I’m not big on dogs.

5298804
It's an acquired taste. I like it well enough

5298819

No, I don't like water. I'm not so terrified that I won't go in it, as I've clarified, but I'd prefer to stay away from it. If it's a large body of water, like a reservoir, lake, pond or the sea, I'm not going near it. I hate the sight of it if it's any of those. If it's a pool at home, I'm fine with it, but I more than likely won't go in it for a swim or to chill, like in a hot tub.

No...they are not. Horror films have always been decent since before the 2000's. The ones I've watched that are so terrible it made my eyes almost bleed were from the 2015 era, where we have good effects available to make it realistic but instead they are crap, cheap and obviously fake and make no sense. Not to mention terrible acting. One horror that influenced me the most was The Grudge. Still gives me nightmares now and again, and I watched it sometime when I had only a single number in my age. If you want absolutely terrible, look at the SAW films. Mindless gore and killing for the sake of it. It's...well, it's shit, honestly.

Also, what you're watching is snuff films. Have you seen No Vacancy? Look it up and you'll see just how disgusting it is. I'll never sleep in an American motel in the ass-end of nowhere of the country. Noop. :applecry::fluttershbad:

As I say, modern horror films are almost always terrible, clichéd to death and have overly bad acting, where the exaggerations are always so noticeable and cringe-worthy. That's why I only watch the old stuff, where everyone was at their most creative and experimenting. John Carpenter has some pretty gruesome stuff. The vampire film with James Woods? The kind of stuff I saw as I was growing up. Thirty Days of Night has got to be one of my favourite films from that time period. Very bloody, very gruesome, very tragic and very enjoyable. From the sounds of it, you've been watching all the terrible stuff and formed a bad opinion about the horror genre. You've just got to look in the right places.

I could talk about this all day, but I don't want to rant. But if you're interested and like a bit of mystery blended with your horror, I based Octavia's Painting upon a real life event. While it's technically not a horror fic, A Girl and Her Alligator follows some dark themes inspired / influenced from certain works.

Apart from what I've mentioned, I can write a killer horror story when I really want to! (Pun not intended!)

5298858

From the sounds of it, you've been watching all the terrible stuff and formed a bad opinion about the horror genre. You've just got to look in the right places.

You’re right, I been looking on terrible horror movies so much that it give me a bad opinion on the genre. I shouldn’t be harsh on the horror genre after all.

I going to blame on my younger self for watching crappy horror movies than good horror movies. (Damn it, younger me!)

Guinea pigs :heart::heart::heart:

Wheek, wheek! 🐹

They have the best noses ever. Gotta love it when they purr and clean themselves! :rainbowkiss:
