It was not that long after Haven teleported to Earth that things were getting worse in Equus. Many were still angry that they weren't chosen and began looking for ways to save themselves and their loved ones. Some even believed that their leaders, the ones who had remained behind either out of choice or chance, had failed them which lead to numerous rebellions that had to be put down. Even Equestria was not safe as Princess Celestia, with great reluctance, was forced to put her own rebelling ponies to the sword for their actions. Suicides were on the rise and many figured it was pointless to have children with the end coming in less then 200 years. Regardless, Princess Celestia, Discord, and others still tried to find someway to save the planet despite odds against them. In the end, desperation drove three groups to search for those who would have access to powers and means that were only granted to them. And thus three figures of darkness were awakened.

In the Crystal Empire, a council was left behind to be the ruling body of the remaining ponies Crystal Empire while Princess Cadence and her family, plus the 100,000 chosen, were in Haven. The Crystal Empire felt that it had been abandoned to a doomed fate once again and were determined not to die and thus they were forced to do the unthinkable. Under a complex and dark ritual, a group of powerful mages used the forbidden magic of necromancy to raise King Sombra back from the dead. In return for him trying to find a way to ensure the Crystal Empire survived, they would give him the throne once again. King Sombra easily killed those of the council and reestablished his rule, however, instead of forcing the Crystal Empire to submit to them he tried to play on their fears and hatred by stating that he would ensure they would survive and that his dark magic would protect them and give them a future the rulers of Equestria had denied them. While some would flee out of fear to Equestria, many in the end offered their loyalty to him and so the Crystal Empire at long last had accepted Sombra as their one true king.

Meanwhile, the largest Centaur war bands had realized that their race was doomed and needed to unite under a king again to survive. Someone powerful enough and wise enough and ruthless enough to lead them into Equestria and take it over, believing it would be the safest place as well enact their revenge for being excluded from Haven. Thus, the most powerful of their warriors went into the deep underground prison of Tartarus to free Tirek, the last of their royal bloodline. They even kidnapped ponies for him to suck the magic out of in order to grow back to a reasonable size. Tirek, having learned from his past defeats, decided that he would use his people as a means to regain his glory and defeat Equestria. He spent his time building up his forces while submitting the other war bands to obey his orders or be destroyed all while sending raiding attacks to the shores of Equestria to soften them up.

Finally, a single griffin by the name of Gilda, who had not been chosen, had been angry she had been betrayed again. Despite her renewed friendship with Dash, she had not been chosen to go to Haven and even Dash had been unable to get her a spot. Gilda, who had decided she wasn't going to die, searched for a way to save herself and ended up learning of the one known as Grogar. While she originally wanted to find a means to save herself, she found that Grogar still lived as a statue. Offering her a chance to live, and get revenge, Gilda went through a trial to get Grogar's bell and used it to free him from his prison. In return, he used his dark magic to make her a powerful warrior but was now running on a fuel of hatred and she swore to her new master.

Grogar, however, realized that in order to save both of them from the end of the world, they would need more dark magic, power, and resources to survive. Learning of how Haven was teleported to a new world, Grogar believed such a spell could be done even without the Elements of Harmony, but first he needed allies and an army. Seeing the griffins were leaderless, he began to take over in the shadows with Gilda as his main enforcer.

In the years since, Equestria found itself fighting a war on two fronts with the Crystal Empire, now the Dark Empire, attack from the north while Tirek and his Centaurs attacked from the south. Even worse, ponies rebelling against Celestia and changelings left behind by Chrysalis for being "useless" in her eyes were siding with the two evil powers for survival. Despite this, Celestia and Discord did their best to keep Equestria safe until a third army arrived lead by Grogar.

Eventually, all three leaders agreed to meet and realized that ruling Equestria would be pointless due to the sun coming to its end in the years to come. However, each of them had dark knowledge and power that combined could save themselves and make the rest of the world's bow to them in exchange for survival. They swore loyalty to each other and their dark cause and so was born the Triumvirate. Equestria was unable to defeat the alliance. Discord was lead to a trap where his magic was stolen by Tirek and he was killed shortly after. Celestia did her best to hold off the dark armies, but she too was eventually slain with her body paraded around Canterlot to the tears of her subjects.

With Equestria at last their own, the Triumvirate began to try and find a way to recreate the means to teleport a nation to Earth. During this time, their rule began to grow as many surrendered to their power or died fighting it. Many even joined willingly when they promised to save them unlike those who abandoned them. Anger and hatred began growing in the hearts of all the creatures left behind that the Triumvirate manipulated with propaganda, making them believe that they were left behind on purpose and were forgotten by those who had saved themselves. But the Triumvirate would save them and so they began to worship them as their saviors. King Sombra became the Father of Law, creating the laws that their new society would be under as soon the lessons of Friendship were forgotten for the belief in desire, power, fear, and self-gain. Tirek became the Father of Swords, leading the armies against their enemies while preparing their army for the day that they would get their revenge on those who left them behind. And Grogar became the Father of Scrolls, teaching magic and knowledge to those worthy of it and enhancing it through dark magic and rituals. Their Top Enforcer was Gilda and her bloodline, whose children would swear revenge on Rainbow Dash's descendants.

For 100 years, the Triumvirate slowly corrupted the populace of those under their control into the dark ways with children raised to prepare for the Day of Vengeance. A day when they would take over Earth and make those who abandoned them pay for their crimes. Science and technology also advanced as the Triumvirate had discovered a means to watch the planet Earth, learn from it, and apply its advance technology with their dark magic. At long last, a means was figured out. By using a large amount of blood magic and the souls of those sacrificed, it was believed that they could use it as a portal to teleport themselves to Earth and take it over. For years, the Triumvirate twisted the idea of self-sacrifice by making the populace believe that they had to die for the future of their children and children's children. Thus a law was made that any living creature past the age of adulthood could sacrifice themselves for the ritual. Criminals were also sacrificed as well as those terminally ill or physically/mentally disabled. For almost a hundred more years, numerous sacrifices were done with many volunteering for their children to get revenge or for their survival. As this happened, the sun began to die as darker days happened and parts of the world slowly died down as well as those not under the protection of the Triumvirate. Finally, just one year before the enviable end of the world, the ritual was at last complete.

A few days later, the Triumvirate and its land, which made up of the Crystal Empire, Equestria, and The Badlands, activated the ritual and were sent through time and space and into Earth. A year later, the Sun finally died and took Equus and all life remaining on it with it.

On the 200th anniversary of the salvation and alliance, humanity and the Creatures of Haven were surprised to find another land of mass appearing in the sea in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. However, this surprise turn to fear and chaos as The Triumvirate unleashed surprised attacks on the world from North America to Africa to Asia to Haven itself. Ponies, Dragons, Griffins, Zebras, Changelings and more used their dark magic and technology to take over parts of the earth and kill hundreds of thousands on the first day alone. The Triumvirate then sent a message to the world: "Resistance is futile. Vengeance is Eternal."

After weeks of blitzkrieg attacks, the alliance of Humanity and Haven were able to halt the attack and soon realized what they were facing. President Luna would soon learn the fate of her sister, Discord, and the events that occurred making her swear to avenge her sister and all the innocent lives that were taken during this madness.

It is the Year 2236, a year after the Triumvirate arrived and declared war upon the world. The Alliance of Humanity and Haven prepares for war to defend their territories and people while seeking to regain the human lands that were lost. The Triumvirate, despite being halted, prepares to continued their conquest as they let loose the survivors and offspring of those with hatred in their blood.

Alliance vs Triumvirate

Light vs Dark

Friendship vs Hatred.

Wow... That is some interesting what-if. And survival is one heck of a motivator to do things, even dark deeds... Good job.

Damn, you always come up with such interesting plotlines. I wonder who would still be alive during the Day of Vengence out of the original group that wa ssent over. Let alone how many personal vendettas would have to be carried out just from that day alone.

If any government ever knew of an impending doomsday, this is the reason they would try and keep the whole thing under wraps.

Ironic how the Triumvirate does the same thing they accuse Haven of: saving some at the cost of the rest. They just kill them directly as a sacrifice instead of leaving them to die.

I like it ,but........

Science and technology also advanced as the Triumvirate had discovered a means to watch the planet Earth, learn from it, and apply its advance technology with their dark magic.

I call bullshit on that
It's one of these things that happen in movies just because, just so villains would be stronger in the main objective even if there is no way they could get that and it's only plot luck they did it something like that
It takes away that feeling of realism and grounded rules and replace it with "bullshit happened, villains got a buff because of the plot "

How they could track earth from millions of worlds and especially that specific earth and even watch it with no limitations?

Like in movies, books, etc villains find a secret superpower or some secret weapon , technology just so plot can jump over the problems like here would be that earth would be more advanced than Triumvirate

Think about it like, if Thanos miraculously found all infinity stones with a gauntlet in some bushes just because the plot demanded that he has to get a lucky upgrade over the good guys and jump over the whole collecting the infinity stones stage and be stronger in a final battle

I don't know if you're seeing this but what if the triumvirate, haven, and negotiations Equestria from separate timelines all ended up on Earth? Wacky times

Here's an idea for a what-if scenario: what if LUNA defected, as well? My understanding is that Luna would know better than anypony else that the ponies are NOT paragons of virtue and thus have no right to judge humanity as they did. After all, it was she who gave in to the darkness and became Nightmare Moon of her own volition out of jealousy and envy, plus she lived through the darker era of pony history that Celestia tried to erase and forget, so she would know firsthand how decrepit ponies can really be. How would the war have gone if she joined the resistance? Feel free to explore this idea, and if you feel inspired to write a fic about it, by all means.

I like to see this as fanfic please
