Been getting ready to take the now-annual trip up north to spend Thanksgiving weekend with Filly's family. We leave this afternoon and come back in the dead of night Saturday. The trip itself will be fun - we love road trips - and the destination, well, last year went better than expected, maybe this one will too.
Off to pack and take a pie out of the oven - I hope my American friends have a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. As for the rest of you, well, carry on.
I guess I'm in the "carry on" category, but you can be damn sure I will. Thanksgiving is a bit like Halloween for us here. Or, well, for me. An excuse to buy more good food for myself so as to not get all jealous when you silly 'mericans have your colonist holidays.

My family comes to my place, so I've never had to go anywhere. It's the same on Christmas. I love it.
