Progress blog for the new readers of Spike Hates Himself (SHH [feels like I'm silencing a crowd with this acronym]). Going through the next release of the story right now, and will have my other pair of eyes TheWraithWriter on the case whenever he's available. Next chapter is hovering around 5,100 words written on and off. I'm also separating this chapter into a two-parter, mostly because the chapter is establishing another mini story within it, just as a slight tease if I ever decided to write that particular section as its own fic. However, that's for another time to talk about. Right now, I'm juggling where this story will go, and honestly, it's going to be completed as little as under 30k words. It's not a bad thing actually, will be one of my first stories I will ever complete that is more than just a couple chapters. It's pretty insane to think about. When I first re-joined the fandom under the name Soaring, I wrote a shit ton of stories, and the only ones that I finished were my one-shots. With this motivation I have, I'm getting close to finishing my first one. I want to get into a habit of finishing stories before starting on the next project, and Spike Hates Himself will be my first one completed. To say I'm excited would be an understatement.
