The contest results are in! And... · 9:03pm Apr 15th, 2020
But hey! It was so much fun to get back to writing - in the eight months (give or take) leading up to this contest, I hadn't managed to actually finish anything more substantial than Not Fade Away, my little Equestria Girls meta-scribble, and that one barely qualified as a story at all. Whereas Diplodocus is my longest story to date, and I had a whole lot of fun writing it, so thank you to the organisers for putting it all together - and for the amazing ponymote announcement post, which is just excellent.
(Plus, at least Diplodocus keeps up the proud Cloptimist traditions of (a) never yet having placed above "Honorable Mention" in a Fimfiction contest, and (b) my longer multi-chapter stories ending up as the least successful things I write...!)
Thanks to everyone who has read it, and congratulations to the winners - some really good stories in there.
I will try not to wait another eight months before publishing something new for you all, and in the meantime, thanks for following!
