Hey everyone! This blog doesn’t really relate to anything beyond me talking about, well, my new phone.
My phone broke right when I was about to call to get tech assistance for my computer, because both decided that this week (and last week in the case of the computer) were the opportune times to go to minimal functionality.
Fuck ‘em.
I’ll likely have the laptop back up and running like normal soon. Otherwise, I’ll be completely out of commission in regards to discord, texting, and non-automated pre-written updates until my data gets restored entirely on the new phone (and the laptop gets fixed) in a couple days. Because my carrier didn’t have the equipment for a data transfer. And they also explained to me that even if they did have it in-store, data transfers aren’t anything that I could get right now. Why didn’t I just go to the Apple Store, they suggested.
The nearest apple store is literally in the next state over.
No one is supposed to leave the county because of the virus.
(Might also be worth mentioning that I’m a broke boy with no car.)
Despite all that, I got my new phone. Still need 90% of my contacts though. So if I seem distant or offline, it’s because my devices are limited which restricts me to lurking when I won’t be yelling at my computer or figuring out if I can schedule an anxiety attack after I make use of my sweet, sweet deadline extensions on coursework.
(I had some ideas for the horror contest too; I’ll only do them if I truly have the time, either as functioning entries or ‘inspired by’ post-entry stories.)

The keyboard on this is fun. Also, I finally got one of those neat pop socket things!
I haven't had an iPhone since 2014, but the thing still seems to be alive and well (No data though, but otherwise functional) so with any luck your new 11 will keep itself going for a while.
On another note, did these busted electronics have anything to do with why you didn't respond to any of my comments on Tomb of Magic? This isn't a rude accusation or anything of course, you just always seem to respond, and so quickly, so when I came back to nothing, it just felt... Off.
Hopefully that doesn't sound awful in any way, I was just the slightest bit worried, but now I think everything makes sense.

Yes, that’s exactly why! I’m generally only able to get shorter comments typed on mobile; assuming I want accuracy. I have the link sent to myself on here so I won’t forget them when I have the time to reply.
