    Domesticated Foxes

I read an article in a magazine (most likely Popular Science, but it might have been from a number of them) about this experiment in Russia, where they decided to test the process of domestication, and see if it could be replicated.

    Went to BABScon

It was my first convention. Pretty great. Definitely the most fun I've had for a long time.

    Breaking Dawn chapter soonish!

I really had no excuse for letting it sit for so long. But I've gotten the next chapter about halfway done.

I'm making a blog post to keep myself accountable.

Ponyvania is now a full game!

I had almost given up on this gem of a fan game, but apparently, they were hard at work all along.

Now we have a full version (Though apparently, the two-player mode is still a bit buggy, and will be patched soon.)

I just found this out today, by dumb luck, as I had lost my old version on my harddrive. And it just got released eight days ago.

For all the aspiring writers out there...

This video is about Harry Potter, but it's more about writing in general. It also helps you from writing yourself into corners, and emphasizes the importance of the original idea the story is based off of.

Domesticated Foxes · 4:18am Apr 6th, 2020

I read an article in a magazine (most likely Popular Science, but it might have been from a number of them) about this experiment in Russia, where they decided to test the process of domestication, and see if it could be replicated.

Foxes have always held a part of my heart, for reasons I don't really know, and I was rather excited at the news, but this video gave a little more insight into their behavior than an article could with only text and pictures. It also gave me an idea of how much the overall state of foxes as pets has progressed. (As in, actually in the US.)

This doesn't have any real relevance toward Wild Magic as a story, but I noticed quite a few commenters with a fox-related avatar, and figured that the news might be appreciated (if not already known).

The legends were surprisingly accurate about mischievousness. That's one of the most consistent traits of foxes (aside from a complete lack of ability to be toilet trained).

I want oooone so bad!
