Domesticated Foxes · 4:18am Apr 6th, 2020
I read an article in a magazine (most likely Popular Science, but it might have been from a number of them) about this experiment in Russia, where they decided to test the process of domestication, and see if it could be replicated.
Foxes have always held a part of my heart, for reasons I don't really know, and I was rather excited at the news, but this video gave a little more insight into their behavior than an article could with only text and pictures. It also gave me an idea of how much the overall state of foxes as pets has progressed. (As in, actually in the US.)
This doesn't have any real relevance toward Wild Magic as a story, but I noticed quite a few commenters with a fox-related avatar, and figured that the news might be appreciated (if not already known).
Just found this on Twitter:

The legends were surprisingly accurate about mischievousness. That's one of the most consistent traits of foxes (aside from a complete lack of ability to be toilet trained).
I want oooone so bad!
