The Inevitable Delay · 2:39pm Mar 22nd, 2020
To be fair, I have already mentioned several times that this was going to happen eventually.
For the last seven months or so, I've been managing to keep my latest novel on a consistent release schedule. I've published 11 of the 20 chapters on that schedule. More than half! That's not bad.
But I've been slowly losing the head start I had on the draft, and we've reached the point where, at least temporarily, I can no longer keep that pace. (I work a life-essential job, so the Coronavirus outbreak hasn't granted me any sudden increase in free time, either.)
At least for now, I have to increase the release windows for upcoming chapters to once every four weeks. This schedule will remain in place for the releases of chapters 12 and 13. After 13 releases, I'll post another update on where I stand. Maybe I'll be able to shorten it back to three weeks, or maybe it'll get even longer. All depends what happens in the near future.
For now, keep an eye out for Magic of the Heart chapter 12 on April 17th, and Chapter 13 on May 15th.
~PRB
I quite understand, PRB as I'm sure we all do. I myself work in a mission critical position (which also pays the bills!) so no time off for me, either.
I'm sure I speak for most when I say that we look forward to the next chapter, when ever it may come and understand that life comes first.
Please take care and stay safe, first and foremost!
Take your time, and stay safe! Once every 4 months is still far far more than we could have hoped for just one year ago! :twilightsmile
Writing is always hard and will always take time, and I'm honestly grateful that you're making this at all... Some delays are absolutely nothing compared to that joy!
Keep safe and good luck.
understood. good luck and best wishes.
I'll be waiting for your work.
