    Unreal.

Hello all. Like always when I make posts on here these days... it's been a while, eh?

I do not even know where to begin, exactly. I know it has been an eternity since I posted a piece of writing on here, and that even includes blog posts... but that's okay.

MLP Gen 5 Movie: A Review (but only sorta since like half this review is gonna talk about Hitch Trailblazer lol)

To be honest, prior to watching the MLP Gen 5 movie, I had literally ZERO hype for it. I walked into it with virtually no expectations... and honestly, I was actually expecting it to be kinda, well, bad.

    Semester is Over LMAO

Quote from my last blog: "However, the semester is starting back up, and it's looking busy as always, soooo I will have limited time to work on it. The thing, though? I am still gonna keep working on it. I'll make time."

    ....

    Ha. Hahaha, hahaha. Hooheeha.

    Chapter 2 Posted!

Hey y'all. I managed to post the 2nd chapter of my niche passion project in a semi-reasonable time frame! WOW! Granted, it's not the "BIG ONE" yet, but I already have a start on that one and it's going well. This chapter is sort of the calm before the storm... and it'll be a storm for sure.

Soooo it wasn't bacterial bronchitis haha · 5:52am Mar 22nd, 2020

Hi guys,

So remember when I said that I had bacterial bronchitis? HAHAHA. No. I had coronavirus. Guaranteed.

Three days into the antibiotic, about 2 days after my last blog post, I started getting worsening symptoms. I initially chalked them up to side effects from the antibiotic. But then, they got worse. At first, it was terrible fatigue. Then, a worsening cough. Then, a day later, it was a 103.5 fever. It even got up to 104.4. I was sweating profusely and couldn't get out of bed. Good thing I had Tylenol, because fuck me, I was burning up.

Then, it was the breathing trouble. It felt like someone has wrapped my body in saran wrap and tightened it until I couldn't get in a deep breath. My blood oxygen level was about 89% according to the blood oxygen level meter I got from CVS pharmacy in February. I told myself that if it got to 85%, I'd call 911. By this point, I stopped taking the antibiotic because I KNEW this wasn't a bacterial infection. I tried to sleep but I was afraid if I fell asleep the breathing trouble would get worse and I wouldn't wake up again. Eventually, I slept though. I tried to eat but I threw up my protein bars two days in a row. I had no roommates currently in the apartment with me, and no contacts other than my sister to talk to, so I contacted her on March 15 and asked her how she was doing. I remember the date because I thought it might be the day my lungs stopped working and I wanted to get in touch with her via text to see if she was in the same boat as me. I didn't let her know what was going on with me, though. She was doing well and was feeling a lot better. If she had COVID-19, she got it way less bad than me.

My symptoms started getting better when I woke up the next day. I still couldn't breathe right, but I could suddenly keep down some light food and I felt at least like I was alert. Like my brain worked. By March 18, I felt a lot better. Still not normal, but definitely better. Only since a couple days ago do I feel good enough to relax. None of my roommates have come back yet due to our University cancelling classes in person, but they may be back soon-ish. I've disinfected the entire apartment so thoroughly that I could make a doctor proud, so hopefully they won't get anything I got.

I'm almost 25 years old and only a little bit overweight. I felt like I might die at some point from this shit despite not being in the "risk group" for COVID-19. STAY THE FUCK INSIDE. My lungs still aren't normal feeling. If I DIDN'T get COVID-19 after all this shit, then I can pretty much guarantee that I will die from this shit if it does hit me, because I've had flu before, and NEVER in my fucking life have I ever felt that bad before. It was a whole other level of shit. STAY. THE FUCK. INSIDE. As much as possible.

Glad I'm still here, y'all. Protect your elders and, for the love of fuck, STAY THE FUCK INSIDE.

Sounds like your body caught it, but fought it hard.
Soldier on mate!

They say all we can do is stay inside and wait for a vaccine, but we have 200 years of documented viralcidal knowledge to put to use in the meantime.
Everything from Iodine to good old vitamin C.

Be proud of yourself. You won.

So you had the virus..... I was wondering if someone from the fandom would get it. And a little afraid an important fandom figure who did or does a lot of pony work could be hit by it and die from it. I'm glad you didn't (and it's a feat that your body got over it in just 4 days and that without artificial respiration, I probably wouldn't do so well), but it's good to get some firsthoof information about how the disease affects someone. It was interesting to read this and can serve as a good documentation.
Though, you were diagnosed with bacterial bronchitis, despite that you had the coronavirus? Wow, the american health system really does suck. Now people finally get free tests there, but they still didn't bother to test you just in case? If humanity gets hit with an even worse virus, and one day it will, then the US will be the first nation that goes. At least I'll get my zombie apocalypse then.....

.

STAY THE FUCK INSIDE.

Today is my 2-Week-Anniversary of chosen self-isolation and my 1-Week-Anniversary of starting to consume my prepper supplies. I have rice, noodles, tomato sauce, spices, canned vegetables, bread, juice, hazelnut spread, sugar, salt, shower gel, tooth paste and mouth rinse (~hopefully), trash bags, disinfectant (~hopefully), paper towels and toilet paper for two months. Plus two lasagnas, a salami bar, three packages of cheese (2 small, 1 big), an extra bag noodles, two small cans of fish in asia cocktail sauce (because irony is a good thing) and two bags of chocolate wafers, in case I crave something more substantial and unhealthy. Because going outside and catching the virus while looking for some fat would suck.
I am prepared for the apocalypse.

Huk

Most people over here in Poland actually listened to the government (pretty shocking, really), and for now, stays inside. If this will continue for the next two weeks, maybe we will be able to avoid Italian style shitstorm...

Honestly, I'm starting to be more worried about the economy than the virus. If this keeps up, then in a few months, the world's market will go into a steep dive that may cause more deaths and despair than that fucking virus :applejackunsure:

I'll sing the sang tune Gyro sang, damn dude, your body fought real hard, I can only imagine how shit that whole ordeal is, so I'm glad to hear you're, if not okay, at least fightin' hard.

It's probably shitty of me to share my own experience with the Coronavirus, but I might as well. Luckily, the Coronavirus didn't seem to hit here in Chiapas nearly as hard as in Europe or other places. Honestly, althou everyone is so hysteric about it, not many people seem to actually, y'know, take precaution. I would, but unfortunately, quarantining myself isn't really an option for me since I live with only my boyfriend, and we're both teenagers, we have to go to work, and I work in a bar on the other side of town, so I'm pretty exposed to it. The government raising the prices of simple shit like eggs, milk, sugar, and, most importantly, SALT AND TORTILLA, the thing we're living off right now, doesn't fucking help.

Let me tell ya, the US is shit, but Mexico certainly doesn't fair much better, when the government seems to only capitalize on the situation, like that. I mean, to get checked, you have to pay a bill first, but the damn thing is two weeks of both of our salaries. I've been saving money, but damn, one thousand pesos is outragious. I'm just lucky he and I seem to be doing fine, just a bit of heat, but that's the usual.

Everyone who can, for the love of fucking god, STAY THE FUCK INSIDE, but unfortunately, not all of us can. It's just a show of humanity, I guess. Here's to hoping we can stop all this like we did Ebola, years back, here's to hoping. Keep fightin', dude, you're doin' would make the doctors proud, indeed.

I'm really fucking hoping that we can find an effective medication to treat symptoms. Hydroxychloroquine shows some promise, but the most recent study out of France is fucking statistically manipulative and invalid garbage. I'm really hoping it isn't a red herring.

I still don't feel like I won anything, and my lungs aren't normal yet, but I'm certainly doing much better than before. Thank you for the kind words.

So you had the virus..... I was wondering if someone from the fandom would get it. And a little afraid an important fandom figure who did or does a lot of pony work could be hit by it and die from it. I'm glad you didn't (and it's a feat that your body got over it in just 4 days and that without artificial respiration, I probably wouldn't do so well),

Oh no, it wasn't 4 days, it was more like a couple weeks. The worst symptoms lasted maybe 5-6 days. Honestly, if I'm going to include the abnormal way my lungs still feel right now, it's been more like 3 weeks? And I'll be honest, I ain't gonna be unique in this regard, either. I am FAR from the last person, in the fandom or otherwise, who is going to get this fucking thing. We just have to try and not all get it at the same time so that hospital resources can be used on the people who need it without a lack of resources to go around. Keep up your self-quarantine, man. It's the right thing to do and if you are able to do it, then do it.

Though, you were diagnosed with bacterial bronchitis, despite that you had the coronavirus? Wow, the american health system really does suck.

To be frank, yes, the American health system is akin to the fucking mafia and it sucks donkey balls, but it wasn't actually the doctor's fault this time. The place I went didn't even have tests and I wasn't severely symptomatic by then. I probably gave them this shit, though. I shouldn't have even gone but went because my sister insisted.

Now people finally get free tests there, but they still didn't bother to test you just in case? If humanity gets hit with an even worse virus, and one day it will, then the US will be the first nation that goes. At least I'll get my zombie apocalypse then.....

Lack of tests available hamstrings any testing efforts. The CDC are murderers, and the USA is indeed super fucked on multiple levels. But I certainly wouldn't be wishing for a zombie apocalypse regardless, mate.

You do sound pretty well prepared though, man. Best of luck, and stay safe!

I'm happy to hear that the people are listening. It might not get as bad where you are at compared to other countries. In the USA, like 1/3 of the people are fucking morons.

Honestly, I'm starting to be more worried about the economy than the virus. If this keeps up, then in a few months, the world's market will go into a steep dive that may cause more deaths and despair than that fucking virus :applejackunsure:

In the long run, the economy would be less fucked if they just started shutting shit down now. The sooner we do that, the sooner we can get back to real work. However, if they keep fucking waiting and trying (but failing) to "preserve" the economy somehow, this nightmare is going to be much, much worse. The good news is that the collapse is contingent on the presence of the virus in many ways, so while it will take a good amount of time to get the economy back, there is potential for upward trajectory by maybe mid-next year. Won't lie to you though, things look bleak right now.

I'll be honest, it didn't really feel like a "fight" on my part. I was just laying down trying to get in deep enough breaths and hoping that my lungs wouldn't keep progressively getting worse. Fortunately, they haven't. But thank you for the kind words, and I wish you good health and safety in these terrible times.

It's probably shitty of me to share my own experience with the Coronavirus,

Hell no, you're good!

That sounds less than ideal. I'm sorry you are having to deal with that right now. You are right though, the spread of this thing doesn't appear to have reached Chiapas or parts of Central America with as much vigor yet, but I do believe it will eventually reach everywhere.

Damn, that is way too much money for a damn test. It used to be $3500 for a test in the USA, but fortunately that has changed to free. However, treatment isn't necessarily covered, even though it is covered in Europe and Asia, leaving most people with $30,000 medical bills at minimum. It fucking sucks.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Just wash your hands a lot and try to keep up social distancing when you are able to do so outside of work and that's what you can do. Hopefully others can do their part and slow the spread of this thing.

Wishing you nothing but the best of health and safety.
