Man, it feels good to be back. · 3:11am Mar 19th, 2020
Hiya!
So I tend to go through rather long bouts of writers’ block, as people who’ve been following me for a while might have noticed. This one was a bit of a doozy. While it’s not the worst I’ve dealt with, it was pretty darn bad. A combination of the series finale, another waltz with depression, a plethora of work, and a reigniting of my board game obsession each had a hand in this, like some metaphorical congregation of Bruti conspiring to drive a dagger into the back of my imagination.
I’m not sure if I should have compared myself to Caesar there. The closest I come to him is my enjoyment of his pizza.
But hoo boy, does it feel good to have bounced back from that! Three stories in about a month isn’t something I’ve done in quite a while, and I really do hope I can make a habit of that. And three stories I’m super-proud of as well!
So what’s next? I’m hoping to get back to some of my older stories. Two in particular come to mind as highest priority, so with any hope, we’ll be seeing the rest of Dash Looks Like A Lady and The Colorful Case of Chroma Splash soon! Of course, I haven’t been cured of my ridiculous tendency to stop everything I’m doing and start a new story instead, so who knows? Not me, that’s for sure! I know what I’ll be trying to do, but what actually happens is anyone’s guess. Stay tuned, I suppose!
Thanks to everyone who’s liked these last three stories, everyone who stuck around through my lack of production, and just everyone in general! Man I missed writing!
I was wondering if that one would come back from the dead! Awesome!
Welcome back!
I now find myself wondering whether Little Caesar's experiences a yearly downturn in sales around the Ides of March.
That would probably require more people to understand history, though. :B
This is you basically.
