Possible Chapter Delay · 2:51am Feb 28th, 2020
Howdy howd~
Derply here, stopping by to give a quick status update on the next chapter of The Poisoned Barb's Tale.
The editing on the final chapter of the Boast Busters arc is almost complete. Outside of a couple of passages that didn't transfer well from the initial rough draft, everything is going smoothly. At this stage I just have to subject it to my patent Two-Drink Finalization technique; wherein I first drink a cup of coffee while I read it all once, drink a beer as I allow an auto-speak to re-read it to me in an effort to catch misused words...
... and then I drink two more beers as I sit back and re-read it all a third time. See? "Two"-Drinks!
Don't try this at home, kids; I'm a trained professional.
Joking aside, I just wanted you all to know that, due to some issues work has presented me with recently, I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to complete the final leg as quickly as I wanted. I don't imagine they'll be MUCH of a delay, probably just into Sunday at most, but the possibility is there.
Boy I really want to post this on leap year though... Eh they'll probably be a lot of other fics updating on the same day too, so maybe it's for the best...
... Well, whatever the outcomes turns out to be, I hope I'll still get to see you all this Weekend!
