So what's after Rage? · 9:16am Feb 13th, 2020
Now that I've revealed that I've already finished writing nearly half of Rage, the sequel to last of the dark ponies, I probably should touch on what happens after that story is done and published.
I initially intended to write one more story and then write a sequel to Temor. However, I have felt a strong urge to return to the roots of my writings, my original works, my storyworld that I have been developing for over 25 years. Unlike so many, I did not start writing fan fiction, I started writing original stories, creating my own characters and species living in fantasy and sci fi worlds and it's pretty big at this point, though I have divided it into several sections depending on which group of characters I focus on.
I have a fictionpress account that can be found here https://www.fictionpress.com/~askre where I have posted the first three chapter of my sci fi series, the Hunt for Sinda a kind of buddy/cop sci fi on an alien world. I have intended to continue posting it, but it kind of fell by the wayside as I kept working on the pony fiction.
At heart, I am far more an original story writer than a fan fiction writer, though I will give fan fiction the credit it's due, it did improve my English significantly.

But there is a strong possibility that after Rage, I will take a little break to focus on my original work. Hell I would have used some of my characters from my storyworld in the ponyverse considering interdimensional travel is canon and possible and I've been using interdimensional travel in my storyworld since I first started writing, however, I found the ponies just didn't really fit to well in any stories with them. I could get away with it when writing TMNT fiction, because they fit better with my story world, the ponies however not quite as well.
Well I never said I was quitting.
