Hello readers! As promised, my first Q&A session is ready to go. So let's just get into the responses I received.

As you said, the current arc is nearing it's end, so what's next?
Once the Canterlot battle is wrapped up, next is a proper introduction and explanation of everything that brought Sonic to Equestria, as well as what his and Eggman’s presence means for Equestria’s future. Of course, he’ll get to take it easier with the ponies once the air is cleared. Though there are still those Chaos Emeralds to find…
Will Sonic hang out with all the ponies he's encountered while on the run, mending fences?
Yes and no. Sure he would still do some roaming around on his own time, but most of his initial exploring was due to the fact he couldn’t stay in one place very long without stirring up trouble. He’s still a wanted man at this point, after all. When everything settles, he’ll have a home away from home in Ponyville for the time being. But that’s not to say there aren’t a few lingering issues to deal with. He’ll see some of the old faces here and there as we go forward, but a lot of them will be busy with problems of their own. Eggman’s forces will take teamwork from all sides to root out. And even then, his machinations will have a long-lasting impact on Equestria and beyond.

Is canon going to be de-railed too much?
Not by much. I personally like to stick things as close to canon as I can. More of the events will simply feature involvement by the handful of Mobian cast. At the moment I can only see a couple things being radically different in a sense, but not too much.
Are Sonic and Eggman the only characters in Sonic's world that will appear?
That question will be fully answered later on, but no. Aside from a still-veiled subordinate, there’s one more canon Sonic character to be introduced. I’m keeping the overall number small. Some of the failings I’ve seen in this series of crossover and crossovers in general is dumping the entire cast of the other series in at the start. It spreads things too thin, and without careful handling, you just get too many characters that are just ‘there’ without doing much or contributing. Especially with the amount of supporting Equestrian characters I plan to use.
Could Discord in theory send or find Sonic World?
Theoretically… I guess? I mean, he is pretty much a god and has dabbled in opening portals to other dimensions in the actual show. So I suppose it’s possible. But even so, I don’t think he’ll be too inclined to just help our heroes along at any point in this initial juncture.
If the fic continues until Sunset Shimmer and Sonic cross the mirror, is he going to still be a hedgehog?
As a matter of fact, I do plan to extend Sonic and Eggman’s stay at least until the events of Equestria Girls. Things in the EGQ world will become important in the future. But no, he’ll have a human form when he joins Twilight and Spike over there.

What was your inspiration for your fanfic? Another fanfic? Just an idea you had?
Both. Bit of back story first. I didn’t funnily actually start watching the show until late 2013. Before then I adamantly refused to even but my eyes in anything vaguely related to the “girly pony cartoon”, lol. But I was still a Sonic fan, and rediscovered my old copy of SA2 Battle not long before that. Randomly searching Youtube for related stuff led me to stumble across the Sonic vs Rainbow Dash video by AnimatedJames, and a couple other similar videos, in addition to all the Sonic/MLP art that covered Deviantart. Eventually, I gave in and gave a few episodes a try, and the rest is history. And as any nerdy person would do, then I started poking around for fanfiction of the same. Which led me to my main sources of inspiration for this story.
The first are two fic authors that are still friends to this day: ThatBlueInk (formerly RocknRumble), and Gunflame345. Both had what were and are my favorite crossover stories of the two series. But, as you’ll eventually see in my fic, I found were just missing one or two things that I would have loved to see. (Gunflame, bless his heart, would never just let my two stars get on with it already. I don’t like being jerked around.)
The second was almost of the other Sonic/MLP stories I came across over the years being nothing special at best and absolutely atrocious at worst. Some of the garbage I waded through for years looking for those rare works of quality kind of l let me understand why a persistent strain of bronies positively DISDAIN everything having to do with Sonic. Eventually, I just said ‘screw it, I’ll do it myself’ and started making my own outlines and ideas. I wasn’t completely sure if I would ever end up doing it, and life delayed stuff for a long time after that. But somewhere along the line, I decided to buckle down, and here we are.
As anyone who cares to listen will tell you, I’ve got high aspirations for this fic. I want to make something that can come to rank among the Saga of Spyros and The Bridges of the other crossover fics. Partly out of sheer spite for the illiterate-10-year-old-spawned sewage that gets torn to pieces here on Fimfiction and elsewhere.

Why Sonic in particular as a crossover? You had any other crossovers in mind just wondering?
Pretty much answered that above. And not really. I do plan to make side stories of other adventures and just personal thoughts and memories of characters within this verse of mine, but it will all be connected to the main story. But, I’ll let you in on something. There will be a sequel with plenty of crossover elements of its own. But that’s quite awhile down the line.
Will you ever address who is faster Sonic or Rainbow? or does even matter? I'm sure there will be salt either way knowing the fandom. LOL

Wow really? Seeing which is faster will set a precedence for other arcs? Most stories would have them race, Sonic usually wins, end of story, the characters move on. Can't wait to see how in depth you'll make it out.
Yay you answered my question and yeah I get ya, a good amount of SonicXMLP fics either aren't the best or just really drive you away plus the strange rivalry between the fandoms can really get annoying, btw have you read SonicAKG fics here? if not I really recommend them, how knows they might give you and inspiration for something
