[06/02/2020] Future Plans, Future Tactics, and My Life Going Forward · 12:39am Feb 7th, 2020
So, if anyone read my last blog post, you would have noticed that I may have mentioned I was military.
Well, unfortunately, due to medical issues, my employment with my country's armed forces is coming to an end. Things happened, things changed, and I'm researching how I'm going to move forward on this.
First things first, though - Future Plans. Eventually, there will be a conclusion to Future Tactics, but that's not the issue. I've been pushed more and more towards the fact that it's likely I have mild ADHD, and have had it since I was a kid. It would explain my plethora of issues focusing, though my time in the military helped to hone my focus. It is hard to write and live, but I've been able to do both, and both is what I will continue to do. It's been an incredible ride all the same, and I hope to keep bringing in better stories and such as I continue.
OH! Deadwood's Detective Agency. It originally started off as a weird idea of mine to allow me to give myself a more... satisfying conclusion to that piss-off of a comic 'Anon-A-Miss.' Seriously, I've seen daytime dramas with better plotlines. However, catapulting from another person's idea helped me work on a strangely practical detective. Now, if anyone has realized it, if you've seen any of my stories, Deadwood is, well, he's the exact same in every story I write that has him in it. He's my constant, my familiar. If I were a wizard, the bugger would be the one telling me I'm a dumbass because I got bored and made a weird flight spell.
Future Tactics was and will always be my favourite story to write. I don't know if it's because I love military sci-fi as much as I do, but it continues to be the story I return to over and over, and it helps me destress from painful days. The next few chapters all take place in the same location, so I'm excited to bring you all more Future Tactics - The War Games in the, well, future.
Now, the final bit - As I'm being released from the armed forces soon, and as I'm still considered injured, I have to focus on the fact that I'll be recovering for a long while. I had surgery last year, and I'm slowly recovering motor function in the parts of my right foot affected by it.
Life will be as it will, and let no one say different.
I hope you all continue to read my stories, and hope you all give excellent feedback!
EDIT: Dammit, I knew I forgot something. I did not mention I was military. That's part of the reason it takes so long to write chapters. However, when life changes for me shortly, chapters may come out more frequently.
