Dear readers, followers, friends...
First off, my apologies for not posting this sooner. Not entirely sure why, just had some things to think about. My memory's not the best, admittedly. :p
Why this story?
Hey, remember the Conversion Bureau? Remember a certain author who accused members of Space Battles of stalking her and harassing her, including me? Even though my registration date to here in no way shape or form lines up with me signing up to harass her, and my first story had nothing to do with any Conversion Bureau? Yeah. I wasn't too happy, there.
So I looked into this whole genre and... yikes. Not a fan. So, while still writing Elements of Harmony and Savior of Worlds, I decided to start another massive fic that would require lots of planning and research.
But hey, I managed to get through and even write a mostly-decent fic. Yay. :p I'm also never doing that again. Well, probably. Hopefully.

I knew this was gonna be a war fic, overall. I knew this wasn't just gonna be magic and spells. I knew the US military and Earth Defense Command would be involved. Thanks to the massive help from folks at the Hasbroverse thread on Space Battles and Shubzilla in particular, I got that help. Thanks, folks.
I also knew for Neo-Equestria, it wasn't gonna be a 'happy' outcome for them. Reality ensues and all that. I also knew I wanted the Earth they originally converted to be on the brink of war and possible annihiliation. I really didn't want to strawman them too much, and that in their own minds, they had the best of intentions. I hope they came off that way.
I also didn't want there to be too horrible an end, hence the help Earth and Equestria gave them, and them contacting the SG-Decepticons at the end. I'm a sucker for a bit of hope, a ray of sunshine What can I say? I'm sentimental. :p

What's next? Discord! He's next. 'Chaos Runs Rampant' is the next big Hasbroverse story. I've got the rough draft for chapter one done, and am a quarter of the way through chapter two. As for Discord? How will he be portrayed? Well...

Good thing Filthy Rich has a guy who used to deal with Tiamat on a regular basis on speed dial.
But yeah, loved this series so far, very much looking forward to this one.
Good thing for THIS Equestria it not only has The Doctor, but Megan and Transformers.
Something to look forward to: the sort of horror monster Megan had to contend with on a regular basis back when she was hanging out with Wind Whistler and the others.
I mean, I liked that he was their first true success in the redemption train MLP started doing. But still, that was one impression he made the first time. I look forward to seeing how he breaks everyone this time.
As for the bureau story backstory, well, interesting. Of course, since you're writing, the research angle is to your liking. But I appreciate the work. Especially in giving the universe some development. Pushing Starscream's team closer to a new autonomy, the destruction of the old richards house, the secret powers under Megan's skin now that she's got omnicorn powers, the development of how equestria is taking on new earth stuff with the new exchanges, the hints of old spike starting to lose his touch.
Anyhow, you've been a fun author to follow for years. Looking forward to your next piece. Or finishing the collaboration eventually.
