Finally, some good writing weather!
External factors excluded, I will be doing my best to get things done. I am eyeing off the next two side story chapters right now and am seriously thinking of trying to do most of the first one today, so long as inspiration holds out. My personal goal is to get Scales of Desire out soon and I really want to drop Rock Crush Love? around the 13th. If it gets done before then, it gets put out before then and I try to get Muck Muck Clean Up out around the 13th instead. We will see. Rock Crush Love? is one that could end up being a two parter.
Getting Deer Oh Deer completed has taken a big load off my mind with regards to this story. Also, the up voting/down voting on A Deer Named John isn't recording correctly for some reason that I don't know. At time of writing this it should read as 39 Likes and 6 Dislikes but is reading as 5 Dislikes. I don't know why. It has been doing it for a couple of days. Just know that I didn't cause it and I'm just as confused as anyone else lookingat that bit of data.
Feeling better about things at the moment and will be trying to use writing as some level of distraction from the external factors which will, for better or worse, take the time they take. That is not me being dismissive in any way. It is very much on my mind all the time but that is natural with the gradual passing of a loved one. She is well cared for, she just isn't quite ready to leave everyone.

P.S. - I am also still watching the fires. Thankfully nowhere near where I am or my immediate family, more concerned about a different Uncle and Aunt in that regard. This cooler weather may help a little in that though.
P.P.S. - Yes I did submit A Deer Named John to Equestria Daily and yes it was rejected, but that isn't a bad thing. To try again I would have to do some major upgrades to Spot of Tea, Change for Me! I may do it in future but not right now. I'd rather focus on the current chapters at the moment.
