Life Update

So........I said I'd write a story that'd be out on Christmas. Yeah.......
I did write the story, I promise! It's just....taking me longer than I thought it would.
_{(....mainly because I'm lazy and don't know how to manage my time)}
My original plan for it was to write six short stories, each about different holiday adventures. But....I just had no idea what to do. Inspiration had totally deserted me. I eventually had to cut it down into only three stories, but I had trouble with even those. I guess....I don't like them very much.
I'll still be posting them as soon as they're done, which will hopefully be within the next week. I'm just not happy with my work.
I think the humor feels stale and unnatural, heck, even nonexistent at times. I was trying to make cute, comedic slice of life stories, and ended up with a nonsensical rambling.....in my opinion, at least.
My friends insisted that I still try publishing it and seeing what you guys think. I have pretty low expectations for it.
As of tomorrow, I was also be taking Wielders of Harmony off hiatus! I'm excited to continue working on the story--the adventure is really getting into swing and the group of travelers is growing! _{(Everyone's favorite blue fish pony up next!)}
