End of 2019 Update · 3:00pm Dec 27th, 2019
Happy holidays, everybody!
We're coming up to the end of the year, and I figure I should give a quick update/run-down for things.
I've been here on FIMFiction for four months and fourteen stories (thirteen at the time of writing this, but I'm just superstitious enough to not go into the new year on an unlucky number), and a hundred of you've given me a follow in that time. It's been a real treat to get such a positive reception for my work, and I'm hoping I keep up the level of quality and entertainment for y'all.
Current Ongoings: Right now the only ongoing project I've got is Glow In The Dark, Shine In The Sun. It's taking a brief break while I sort out a bunch of non-writing issues (the holidays are bad enough, but work has been a particular pain and I had to prioritize my Jinglemas entry with what spare time I had). Posting should resume around the 10th and be back on track - I expect the story to be done before the end of the 1st quarter of 2020, barring further life hiccups.
Upcoming Contests: Unfortunately I've had to face facts and bail out on The Young Six Writeoff. I've started four pieces for it and trashed 'em all - one may be salvageable later - and with the life time crunch it just isn't gonna happen.
I am on track for Season 10 Bingo and AppleDash: Go Big Or Go Home. Both of those will be dropping in late January/early February, probably the bingo card first.
Other Projects: I've got two longer projects currently on-tap for after Glow In The Dark finishes. The first is a request out of the middle chapter of Worshiping At The Altar Of Knowledge - a buddy comedy of Luna joining the Equestrial Postal Service under Derpy/Ditzy's mentorship. The second is for my fellow Wallflower fan Scampy, and is an expansion of Forgotten Relationships. Expect that one to be cute and fluffy.
I'll also be tossing out smaller one-shots along the way - given my current queue it's probably going to be 1-2 each month as the contests/ongoings allow.
It's been a fun ride with horsewords so far, and should continue to be. Thank you all for reading, and I hope I continue to entertain in the coming months.
Thank you for reminding me about these contests.
