You know what they say about the best laid plans? I'll be real brief with this update, for reasons that will be self-evident.

Another month, albeit the shortest of the year. I still haven't had a chance to get into the process side of my writing and write that detailed plan for the year, been too busy writing a novel. Guess that's a good problem to have.

This is exactly the 71st month I've posted a patreon calendar. Almost but not quite six years of writing fanfic, sharing all these ideas with you that would otherwise stay trapped in my head. I couldn't begin this post, and the beginning of a new year without expressing my profound thanks to everyone who keeps supporting me. New Story: Hour of Twilight · 10:39pm Nov 27th, 2019

Hey everypone, just putting out a quick blog post to let you know I've released a new story: Hour of Twilight.

It's been quite a while since I've been so excited about an idea, and I'm thrilled it's finally coming to fimfiction. This story explores what kind of world Twilight Sparkle might create, if after their long lives, she lost her friends for good. She never quite recovered, and as the years went by, Equestria began to suffer.

It's a world in desperate need of help, and an Equestria that rests on an ancient foundation. What has long slept will rise, and may find unlikely allies in those Celestia's chosen successor has oppressed and fought. It's also the successor story to Why We Dig, a universe that was so much fun to write in that I couldn't stay away. So that should give you some hints about what's going on in this one. I won't call it a sequel though, since none of the characters will be aware of what happened in Why We Dig, so no reader will have to be either.

You are quite prolific. Like dust bunnies.

... aaaand, what does the metric system have to do with your literary progeny? Because five millimeters is the opposite of your prolific pony-word population.
