What started the drone-centric stories

THEY'RE HO- I mean I'm home!

So, after two weeks in the hospital and almost a week of pain before that, I'm finally home. There's only one oozing hole left in my neck (over the normal amount), I'll be taking antibiotics for a while still, but unless everything suddenly explodes I'm back in business.

Sooo, I'm in a bit of a pickle. The next chapter is turning out to be LONG, like two chapters long. I can't particularly split it, but it would be nice to have a chapter written a month ahead to take a break or a more leisure pace. I think I can afford to slow down since the monthly pace has buried pretty much any reader growth anyway. So that's what I'm pondering. It's the resolution of both the nomad bandit situation and the requested DOOM chapter. I originally wanted to split those two events, and thought each would be too short. Shows what I know...
