Yes, basically as the title says. I'll be taking something of a hiatus from writing.
I can't say for how long, and I can't promise anything. I can only say, I'm taking a break from writing. I'll be online, just not updating. I guess right now, the words don't come naturally... and maybe after a little break, they will?!
So, a hiatus. I'm sorry to anyone who was looking forward to updates on stories like Scars in the Sky. I can assure you that it will continue, and hopefully sooner rather than later.
This is what I can offer for now. It will be the last for a while.
Again, I'm very sorry!
Take your time. Maybe when you're back you can write better than ever!

I'll be happy to help as well when you are back. Maybe you're working too hard and trying to publish your stories too soon. Maybe you need to take a little more time with them. I worked on Passing On Together for quite a while before I even published the first chapter. Sometimes you just need to be patient. Well, take a break and come back when you're ready. You seem like a decent writer with potential, Tori. You just need to unlock it.

I appreciate that. I do hope it doesn't seem like I'm spending my every waking moment writing.. most of my recent stories are stories I've had from... over months ago, and wanted to fix up enough to publish. You know.. the instinct to keep going, "beat myself."
And I'll still be online. I just.. won't be writing as much.

It happens and not always can you pinpoint why. Just take the time to refresh yourself and try not worry about not getting anything written. The spark will come again, often when you aren't exactly ready for or expecting it.

As wonderful as your stories are, you update at a manic pace sometimes. Take a breather, let your need to write build its pressure back up until you come exploding back with that old passion.

We're writers. Trust us, we get it. We have all been in your position before and will fall into it many more times in the future. We truly do understand the frustration it brings. But, if you try to force it, the story will fight against you, like it knows what it needs to be and you just aren't quite in the right mindset to do it then and there. We also truly want to see you succeed.
You aren't alone. I have it right now with what I should be writing. The pony stuff I am doing is just reminding me how fun it can be when not pushing it. Like you with your writing, I hope I can return to complete my other project but I won't force it if it isn't working. Learned it the hard way many times.
