Interview with Milk

“Alright, now tell me, my dear friend, what inspired your username?”
Response: Oh man that goes back a bit. So technically, I’ve never chosen my own user name. “Mikesnipe” was a tag basically chosen for me when I first started playing xbox live way back in 2005. Later the name “Milk” came around in late 2016 when someone spelled my name as “Milksnipe” and I simply shortened it to “Milk”.
“What drew you into Mlp?”
Response: hah, so like, back when the show first started, I had a friend who was really into the show and I would constantly hate on him for it or give him a bunch of shit about liking a girls show. You could say I was a Brony Hater for some time there. Eventually all of my jokes got stale and boring, so I thought id get new material to joke about if i watched a few episodes on youtube to see what I could rag on more. By the end of the week, I was caught up to the current running season 3 and was eagerly awaiting more episodes.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?”
Response: Definitely Scootaloo. For some reason I’ve always loved the little orange chicken the most. I loved the head canon that she was an orphan or some how homeless and I was always ecstatic to find a story that would end with her finding a family and home.
“Favorite episode and why?”
Response: Ooooh, that’s a hard one. I’d say it was Sleepless In Ponyville since it was a Scootaloo centric episode. I really loved how they set up the character growth for Scoots and even built up her relationship with Rainbow Dash.
“What inspires you to write?”
Response: I don't really have much in the ways for inspiration per say. I don't write too much but when I feel like dumping emotions I usually write out a few poems and post them. Mostly a catharsis thing. I more or less pour myself into working on Barcast so the poems take a back seat.

Response: Hi I’m Milk! I run the Brarcast Podcast, Write weird and disturbing poetry, and collect dice!
“With Mlp coming to an end, tell us one thing you have learned from your experiences, and how it has helped you to grow?
Response: The biggest thing I’ll take away from MLP:FiM, are the friends I made in the fandom. Admittedly the show was simply a show to me. The fandom is really why I’ve stuck around so long and the friends I’ve made along the way.
“Is there anything else you'd like to say?
Response: I’m super happy to be apart of this! I also look forward to seeing what the fandom holds as we go into post MLP:FiM territory!
