This is the End, and Yet It Continues. · 4:58pm Oct 13th, 2019
I am an emotional mess, let me put out there. I saw a leak and thought I had it through my system, but no, it came back, not as powerful, but it's there.
I can confidently say that no other series has had such an impact on me. I've seen plenty of series enders, without caring, without feeling. That was not the case this time. Anywho, not here to gush sadness at you, quite the opposite. I will continue writing horse words for as long as people want to read them. The stories I tell aren't done, and I don't plan to put that quill down just because Hasbro has decided it was thus.
Sidenote: Gen 5, please be good! Please please please! You won't be Gen 4, you can't be, and you shouldn't try to be. Be something different, but equally amazing. I hear whispers of more adventurous pones, but I have doubts since they still want to target little girls, right? We'll see.
For now, walk with me, and let us weave our own tales, of what could have been, and what could be, and what never was. There is so much more to be done.
I know how you feel. I'm not in the best of shape myself at the moment. Even so, the finale was beautiful, and I'm glad that I got – and remain – involved with this series.
MR Silver i will always be hear to read your words of wisdom.
One way I propose handling things, is to imagine Elsewhere, Pinkie Pie returns The Book, to The Library, where the Librarian carefully slides it back into place with a soft ook, then just as carefully slides the next book off the shelf, and stamps its card before giving it to Pinkie.
SQUEAK.
From the things I've heard about Gen 5, it's not just geared to little girls. It will also be targeted to younger boys too. It's going to be have the tag of "Fantasy Violence" in the age restricter (whatever that thing is) and it's going to be be fore ages 12-14 (supposedly) Don't know if that's going to be true until it comes out, but I'm going to give it a good solid chance.
And despite gen 4 being done, gen 4 is not dead, and will never die as long as there are those who love it and keep weaving stories, creating music, and painting pictures for others to remember what was, what is, and what the future could hold for those ponies we love. Their story isn't truly over. Just this adventure.
I love this series to bits. Hope the movie is mighty good and the G5 series have lots of people's attention. Believe
gen 4 may be ending, but we, its community, are still here, we will always be here on the internet to keep the love of this universe alive with tons of fanmade content. It may be teh end of one era, but in the words of RainbowDash, it is a start of a new, more awesome one

Movie? Another coming?

Ya know the movie that'll bridge the G4 and G5 or something like that. Plus I think the next movie takes place before the final episode because I saw Sci-Twi, Sunset and Tempest together.

That sounds confusing, yet intriguing...
Thank you for writing.
The comics will apparently take over as "season 10" for whatever worth you choose to attach to that.

Not much! The comic writers have a very low rating in my view of looking through the eyes of the world. Their predictions are terrible and often run over.
5138701 Fair point. But they won't be doing predictions anymore.

No, but that doesn't mend the fact that they don't paint the same Equestria as the one we love. An amusing Equestria? Sometimes yes, but not ours. They don't think that way.
On the other hand, my fanfics have been consistently backed up by the show, confirmed long after the fact. I'm super canon, baby!

I have faith in G5 because Equestria Girls sucked.
No, not the series. The initial movie which started it. MLP: EqG was hot garbage. But then the second movie turned it around in an exceptionally solid way, and then everything they built on top of that just kept getting better and better.
Every single time the creative team on this show has stretched past our comfort zone, even if it didn't pan out immediately, they've figured out a way to make it worthwhile. So I'm calling it now: fans are going to melt down once we get our first glimpse at G5, and they'll have legitimate points, and then it'll be a good show anyway.
