After 9 Amazing Years, MLP Gen 4 comes to an end · 11:35pm Oct 12th, 2019

I got started watching MLP when I was in college with Season 1 when I saw the episode Sonic Rainboom and from there I was hooked. MLP has been an amazing TV series and a story in of itself that has changed me and many others. I've seen the final episodes before their airing here in the US and for the most part I liked them, save for the Grogar part. That to me was a bit of bad writing but nothing is perfect.

MLP not only helped me grow as a writer, but helped me start my comic writing and helped me connect with various people both on and off this site. I know I don't often speak much to everyone I know or once knew because of how busy my life is, but I want to know I'm glad to have spent all these years with you guys on a such an amazing show. I'm not leaving, of course, I still got stuff to do for this fandom and I'm hoping Gen 5 will be just as good.

Happy Ending to a Happy Series everyone.

It's the end of the series as we know it (and I feel fine)

Something, something Leonard Bernstein

But seriously, this feels like the end of an era. Thanks to Friendship is Magic I wouldn't have discovered that I really love writing. I'm sad to see the book close on the fourth generation, but nothing lasts forever. We should be thankful that it at least went out on a high note.

And thank you Rated Ponystar for giving us some great stories. I love your work and you inspire me to be a better storyteller.

Thanks for being here. You are one of the best writers on this site.

And I don't plan on stopping writing or creating, as long as I have stories to tell. And knowing me, I won't run out anytime soon =)

Thank you for everything you have given to this fandom. We are all lucky to have you.

What an end. Thanks for all you've done thus far, and keep going at it.

Here's to all the good times that have happened over these years and whatever new stuff comes.🍻

As one chapter ends, another begins. This is not the end, but an interlude. I will see you all again...on the next journey.

Funny enough I got into MLP through college too! It was a class assignment to find a show or movie to find out what has it taught you in the short amount of time and what you could benefit from it. My first episode was actually... Season 1 with the intro of Zecora. Immediately I thought... wow they were teaching kids about racism and how to avoid it.... sweet. Then came Sweet and Elite and fell for Rarity. Then came Luna Eclipsed.... and fell for Luna more than any other. Then, I rewatched it all. It was two years since the show started but I was in it by four episodes. Season 2 finally was where it really kicked my interest with music in a Canterlot Wedding as well as the site here.
MLP also helped me grow as a writer. My other work was fine in my other sites but here it grew stronger and better. Now that its over, I can go back to my original works and perfect them thanks to MLP.

Thanks for continuing to write, and being a constant mentoring presence to myself and to many others. Now it's up to us to keep the adventures rolling. :)

It's been great getting to talk to you and get to know you a little better on this site. Here's to good memories, and many more.

Though it’s sad that is coming to end the far worse thing in my mind is if it continued on like the Simpsons. Becoming more or less a soul less husk of itself. Better to end now than that. Thank you for many wonderful stories sir!

I wasn't interested in MLP at first, but when I learned about how the main protagonist became a princess unlike any other, Twilight Sparkle immediately became my favourite princess. She may not been able to fight against the storm guard or umbrum like her friends did, but there isn't anything about her personality that I hate at all. In fact, she just can't stop being funny and cute. Also, she just couldn't stop being beautiful sometimes. In the long-run, her study friendship has lead Twilight Sparkle from a unicorn bookworm to a Royal Alicorn Princess and became the new ruler of Equestrian, which is similar to what happen to Aragorn in Return of the King and Simba from the Lion King. I love Twilight Sparkle so much because of all that. I still respect her as the Queen of Equestria in my own way. With that said, LONG LIVE MLP!!!!! LONG LIVE TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!!!!

Thanks for all your amazing stories. Would have never discovered them had it not been for the show.

The ending of a magnificent Era...and the dawning of a new one:twilightsmile::heart:. Love live My Little Pony; it will forever live on in our hearts, along with the many lesson it has taught us:heart:.

I've seen the final episodes before their airing here in the US and for the most part I liked them, save for the Grogar part. That to me was a bit of bad writing but nothing is perfect.

I have to agree there, that one could've been done so much better...oh well, nothing like a little good AU version can't fix, right:derpytongue2:?
