Back from the dead. · 7:00am Oct 9th, 2019
Hello everyone!
Long time no see! It's been quite a while since I've had time to come on Fimfiction for longer than a few minutes, checking the Featured Box or for new comments, faves, etc. Even longer since Love & Tolerance and Fallout: Equestria: Darkness Falls got updates. Yikes, it has indeed been a while! For that, I'm very sorry to those who enjoy them. But fear not, this isn't a goodbye post or an "I'm giving up because yada-yada" post. Far from it!
Long story short, life is settling down somewhat, and I'm getting more time. I finished school, scored very well on my state board exam, (91% when I was expecting MUCH lower), took a break while filling out government stuff paperwork for license-related things, found a job, had to get used to said job, had some family and friend issues, then more than a few people quit at my job so there was a bit of extra slack to take up, and now we're hiring more people and things are settling down a bit. So... not really a short story, but that's the shortest I think I can make it without leaving out relevant plot points. We'll call it a summary...
During this time, I've been looking back at my stories and just felt a longing to get back into them, as well as explore potential ideas for new stories. I've got an idea for an XCOM series related tale, and one for Destiny (We'll see how long these take to get off the ground!). So I wanted to start with a blog post to "revitalize" this account and the stories mentioned before. And I'd like to thank those who stuck around and occasionally checked to see if there is an update. I've got a little re-reading and reacquainting to do with what happened in L&T and Darkness Falls, but I have already begun work on new chapters!
Once again, thank you all! 
Always nice to see the author of what was starting to look like a perma-hiatused work come back alive again. Your readers aren't quite dead yet either. :)
