Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who decided I'm worth paying attention to, now that another hundred have joined in. Not sure how many are still on the site, but I do appreciate it. 
Secondly, ye gods you people piled into the Sunset Shipping contest as the deadline approached. I've been saying best of luck in the judging, but now I wish best of luck to the judges. Makes me wish I'd thrown together my idea, even if I did have it less than a day before said deadline. I may have to do it anyway.

Congrats on the milestone!
For whatever reason, I felt an aversion to entering the contest this time. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy it last time; maybe it’s more that I tend to be very monogamous (or perhaps unimaginative) in my shipping. Last year I got it into my head that Sunset could be (crack)shipped with Zephyr Breeze, and if that story didn’t manage to turn into a breakup on its own, I didn’t think there was much to be gained by going back to the well and breaking them up this year.
I’ll tell ya though, I still want to see an Imposing Sovereigns II: Electric (Princess) Scootaloo. Last time I had circumstances that prevented my involvement, but it felt great when I was finally able to write the fic I had wanted to for it. If we were to do it again, wild horses couldn’t keep me away this time.

With my story for the contest. I wrunkled the rules so much, I can't imagine it'll be in serious contention, but I got to finally do the giant monster joke I came up with for my entry in the Season Nine Bingo Contest and then couldn't manage to use. This satisfies my inner recycler, and really, what more does one want from one's stories?
