Signal Boost: Truckers Can Handle Everything · 3:59am Sep 15th, 2019

The second entry in my not-a-contest, woo! And we’ve got a trucker pony again, to boot!

Truckers Can Handle Everything

It’s also the second story in the contest to feature a coverart picture of the author’s own car. Is this a new trend on Fimfic suddenly? Not that I’m complaining, mind, but I feel like I’ve gotta play catch-up now. :derpytongue2:

Maybe Berry Punch Drives A $300 Grand Marquis should be my next fic.

You can barely see them in the pic, but those roofrack crossbars are .125 wall OMG DOM tubing

Anyway, y’all, keep the stories coming! And be sure to check this library here for more stories as they’re added.

I find the thought of that amusing, and that greatly disturbs me. 🚗

Hallowe’en is coming up. Derpy accidentally a Chrysler Minivan?

Im still trying to find routes for my old OC to use for haulage. Its big, its heavy, its fast, and it steers like a cow. Its needs very long distances with very little in the way for optimum use.

Im wondering if I should do the Baltimare routes.

Griffinstone.

Mount Aris. :derpytongue2:

I hear a DUI in the works. :rainbowlaugh:

The one scene I have very clearly in my head is her stick-welding the roofrack on, wearing a pony welding mask.

Heh, that’s an idea.

It’s arguably a better idea than the abomination I’m considering writing, too.

I mean, in the US you’re talking pretty much anything west of the Mississippi and east of the Rockies. As I recall, there’s a section of road in North Dakota that’s over 200 miles in a straight line.

Obviously, Australia across the Great Bugger All is a possibility, and the steppes of Russia would be good, too.

“The car’s got cruise control, which means it basically drives itself, officer.”

In Equestria though, you have to have something that can handle Giant Spider Bandits, Tatzlewurm Packs, Kaijudiles etc.:twilightoops:

That’s a good point. The roo bars on the front probably won’t be enough.

Maybe something more Mad Max....

I was thinking more along the lines of

The Panzer Krystal Express. :pinkiecrazy:

Ma'am, have you been drinking tonight?

The highway between my current residence and Wichita, KS used to be pretty straight, but then they added a bypass around one of the towns it passed through and ruined the whole thing.

"I can clearly smell alcohol on your breath, ma'am. 'Cruise control' and 'autopilot' do not mean the same thing."
