So, like it says on the tin, I've been rewriting the chapter, as I really didn't like what I did with it. Don't worry as you go back through this new stuff, as the other scenes are still going to be used. I just felt that I needed a glance back at earth before we really got down into the war for Equestria.
It's still in production, but I have enough that I'm pretty confident about what I have. I'm not sure if I portrayed the united nations properly, since even the most basic of basic research on them is like, a thirty page manifesto on their goals and powers, so if you've got any if you want to take a look at it and give me some suggestions, I'd be more than happy.
I Think it was a good decision to get a bit of earth going. Once you start heating up the war in equestria it could be really jarring to hop back to earth

Seriously very good. Especially if you work in your last post of the chapter. I would not worry about your depiction of the U.N. It is a story involving magic and aliens, some artistic license is allowed.
I vote for leaving it in.

Thank you for this. The previous version of the chapter was good, but missing the happenings on Earth felt like a big hole in the story.
