Now I know what you're all thinking.
"Why aren't you finishing your other story ideas REEEEE!!!!?!?!?"
Well, to put it simply, my brain are dumb and I can't focus on one idea for too long otherwise it feels stale to me and I need a break from it. Sadly that's happened with most of my stories, and it sucks ass. So I'm writing a new story idea that I want to try out, to get a new fresh thing going on here. My story count is gonna look really fucky for a bit, but...
Due to irl reasons involving one story, I'm going to be taking down a story literally no one gives a damn about and literally won't be missed at all.
The story in question is Kickass: A Quest For Treats, which virtually no one has read or even followed since its inception a couple of years ago.
The co-author of the story... used to be very good friend of mine, someone important in my life. But due to irl reasons involving our relationship has caused me to look on at the story, not with fond memories in mind, but pain and misery, so I'm revoking my submission for it.
in its place, I will be posting the story idea I have been working on for a tiny bit.
i hope you enjoy, and I hope you all understand
Looks like an interesting idea. Eager to see who the pony will be
I propose the apple family and Big Mac for the main character ... if you don't mind.
Couldn't have been an easy choice to make. But I understand entirely. Do you need another co-author for this new idea or any help at all? Either way I'm very much looking forward to this new project.
Would a princess get involved? Or a lesser known pony?

It was a sort of... difficult decision, but alas, it is done. As for help, I could use a proofreader, actually.

If its Cozy Glow or Spoiled Milk you know we will wish for their gruesome demise right?

Say no more my dude
Try writing short stories for a bit.
Say you want to write a long story? Try writing the first part, act, or chapter as a standalone story. If the story does well—meaning you like it and can see yourself finishing it—then make a sequel that is the full story. If you can't, be happy you were able to prove the concept and finish a story while at it.
That advice helped me a fair bit.
