bronycon: part two, i guess? · 9:54am Aug 9th, 2019

First of all, BronyCon was absolutely amazing. I got to meet so many people that I thought I'd never get to meet, and I got to spend time with them and talk to them, face-to-face, and it was amazing. I was only able to stay for Thursday and some of Friday, but at least I got to go!

On Thursday, I went down to get my badge pretty early, before the con opened. I was waiting in line and got tapped on the shoulder. I turned around, and lo and behold, there stood Blitz and B_25. I was honestly in shock, as I'd only ever really talked with them online, and I didn't think I'd ever get to meet them, but there they were!!

I waited in line with those two, and Dustchu joined us, which was awesome!! I can't say it enough, it was amazing seeing everyone in person.

The con was so crowded. I knew how 11,000 people were supposed to be there, but I suppose I didn't realize how many people there actually would be until I got there.

Blitz and I were in the arcade after we got Chipotle with Clops, Shakes, Flammenwerfer, and B, and we were up pretty late playing DOOM. Or, more accurately, me watching Blitz play DOOM because I cannot game to save my life. I had a really awesome first day.

Second day was much like the first, but also different.

I spent most of my time in Quills and Sofas. Blitz and I waited in line for 2 hours to get into the vendor hall, which was pretty cool. I went to the bookstore and got myself "Biblical Monsters". Horse Voice, the author, was there and signed my book for me, which was so cool!! I also got some comic books signed by Andy Price, I got some pins and keychains, a copy of "Space Ponyos", which Clops signed for me(!!), and RBDash was able to give me my signed copy of "Crystals Wishes"!!!

We met up with the Barcast around noon, and kinda just hung out in QnS, talking and laughing.

I got to meet so many people. B_25, Blitz, Dustchu, Lucky Seven, Jack of a Few Trades, FamousLastWords, beta_aquilae, MissytheAngle, Shakespearicles, Clopficsinthecomments, Freglz, the Barcast.... Just so many people, and not enough time. I really wish I was able to stay longer.

There was so much I did and so much I saw that I can't put it all down into words. It was just really really awesome, and I'm so grateful that I was able to go. I'm planning on going to trotcon next year, and I'll most likely stay the whole time. Not sure yet. We'll see.
