Hive Mind Blogs #1 · 7:09pm Aug 4th, 2019
Hello, everyone!
In an effort to be less of an antisocial lurker on this site, and to reassure folks that I’m not dead, I decided to try and set up a little weekly blog about recent happenings and the progress of my stories. I thought that Hive Mind Blogs sounded like a cool title for these.
I’m really sorry for not getting anything out in July. I got pretty sick for several weeks. Something was up with my lungs, and couldn’t afford to go to a doctor, so I just had to rest and wait it out. I’m mostly better now, but still have some tightness in the lungs and a slight cough.
This blog is gonna be pretty short, since I haven’t really been able to do much writing or reading wise. But I plan to hopefully include some of my favorite stories here in the future. I have a couple of old favorites I hope to go back to, since they’ve been re-written recently.
The Hero Club chapter 4 is in progress. I hope to get that and chapter 2 of one of my Zootopia stories on another site done this month, though I can’t make any guarantees. Work tends to go slowly because I’m also working on a novel with my boyfriend and coauthor.
Also, does anyone know how to tell if a story of mine has been featured? I have no idea, other than checking every day.
Anyways, that’s all for now. I hope everyone has a good day. See you next Sunday for the next Hive Mind!
It's nice to hear an update like this. Sorry you had to deal with being sick, although I'm glad you're doing better now. And I think featuring stories you like sounds like a great idea
As for telling if a story's been featured you can search this bookshelf to see if it's on there. Also worth noting is that a story has a chance of getting featured on a day it updates, but otherwise it's extremely unlikely to get enough views at once to hit the board.
