Average brony obsessing over the main cast with an unhealthy desire to see them in a dark fantasy setting.

:applejackconfused: Wait, it's tomorrow!?
Afternoon Everyone

:applejackunsure: Well, that's a thing that's happening. between several projects, ATG, working on Super, planning two other long stories, one of which is based on ponies but I plan to try and turn that into an original work that i can really try to market, drawing other pictures over the last few weeks, Fire Emblem: Three Houses came out, and all other anything stopped for that.

There was a solid three days where I did nothing but play fire emblem, and wouldn't ya know, I ended up saving over my first file by accident, crying about that for a few seconds, then immediately started it up again with plans to do things better with a new house (Claude is best boi, though Sylvain gives him a run for his money). When Fates came out before we all knew what a burning dumpster fire that was going to be, I played that one for about 20 hours straight too. I have a problem.

That aside, look!

BOOKZ!

They're real! And if you're going to the final Bronycon, you can own one! I've printed 14 to sell, and they should be there and available at the Golden Oaks Bookstore starting late Thursday, sometime around 5 or 6 PM. After taxes they're going for 46.61 USD. If I have any extras or there's demand for more, I'll make a second printing, but uh... let's be real, I don't even expect to sell all of these. I'm hoping I do, but I'm an optimistic realist. I hope for the best and expect the worst. Usually, I get something between the two, and that leaves me with some sort of satisfaction that things were not the worst they could be. I have two promises from attendees that they'll buy a copy, so at least it won't be a total loss in the end.

I plan on playing in Friday's TFH tournament, and if I can put a deck together, I'll try to play in the MLP:CCG tournaments too. I'm a set behind there, but I've heard that there will be sealed play, so I'll look into getting some new cards then. I'll be running the book store from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday. We're booth 513 in the vendor hall if you want to come say hi or buy like, all the books.

Anyways, what happens next? Well, then I really sit down and focus on Super. Recently, Star Overhead has, at least in my mind, become the better story for a number of reasons, and it's made me lose a lot of my motivation to work on it. I want to write all the things, but only have so much time, and I've made promises to finish any story I write. I won't do this story dirty like I did my first one by giving it a bad ending, but I won't lie and say I'm not struggling to keep it up. I've written half the next chapter, rewritten a scene, and removed a scene entirely because... I just want to be done with it. I meandered a lot getting to this point and when I look at what still has to be done, I'm probably going to trim a lot of the fat still in the outline. There will be no sequel to this story, and once it ends, it will be over.

That said, I owe it an ending, and the ending it deserves. I learned how to do what I do writing Super, and I will never forget it as long as I live. putting my thoughts in a character's head and having them explain it so someone else helps me figure out what I think on a subject and has helped me solidify my own ideals. I feel like these next few days are going to be rather significant to me, and there's no turning back from where I am. Once Super's cover closes, the Original story will get my attention, and I'm not sure I'll be able to post it here with a vague AU/crossover tag. We'll see though. It covers a topic I've wanted to go over more than once but never had time to do it because I was always focused on Super.

:derpytongue2: Anyways, I'll see you at the con. And if not, I'll be back here in a week or two, hopefully with more Super. I've been having trouble delivering on that lately, but I've also been finding ways to distract myself too. Now that things are mostly done, I won't have as many things to distract with, so maybe.
Until Next Time~
